Not to mention medical marijuana which is working a treat.
Olivia Newton-John is approaching her 70th birthday, and it seems not only is she ready to take on this milestone in her life, she's also ready to beat her third diagnosis of cancer. In a new interview, she expressed the kind of strength in adversity that most of us could only dream of having.

Last year, the 'Grease' star was told that her breast cancer had returned for the third time but it had metastasized to form a tumour in her lower back and was in stage 4. Despite this news, she remains hugely positive, believing that she'll beat the disease again with a combination of radiotherapy and natural treatments.

Breast cancer has returned for Olivia Newton-John.
There has been a heartbreaking turn of events for Olivia Newton-John as she has been forced to cancel her forthcoming North American tour dates following her re-diagnosis of breast cancer. She is, however, hoping to reschedule those dates for later on in the summer following her treatment.

The singer had previously had to cancel a set of dates on her 'Liv On' tour due to sciatica, but now it seems it has been confirmed that the back pain was down to a return of her cancer metastasizing to the sacrum, causing her to 'reluctantly postpone' her June dates.

So does this explain the car flying off into the sky at the end of the movie?
A theory about classic musical Grease posted on Reddit three years ago has resurfaced on social media, giving fans a lot to think about. The fan theory, concocted by user ‘atomicbolt’, claims that main characters Sandy and Danny are actually dead and the whole movie is just ‘a drowning woman's coma fantasy’.
Atomicbolt was wondering, how did Sandy and Danny’s red convertible manage to fly into the sky at the end of the movie?. While the question is certainly valid, the user came up with their own theory, that gives the high school musical a very dark twist.
Speculation is already rife after the brief first announcement.
Earlier this year, NBC’s The Sound of Music Live! TV musical starring Carrie Underwood received largely mixed reviews, but apparently it was good enough for Fox to give it a go as well. The network has ordered a three hour live broadcast of the classic musical to air sometime in 2015. Much like The Sound of Music, this live TV event will be based on the original Broadway musical, staged in 1971, as well as the 1978 film starrng John Travolta and Olivia Newton John. With $400 million in worldwide profits to date, Grease is by far the biggest grossing movie musical of all time. The adapted version will feature a cast of young actors (naturally), but so far, no casting decisions have been made. The production partners will also be announced at a later date.
Online speculation immediately attached Efron's name to the project.
"From Broadway to film, and across generations, Grease is one of the most beloved musical stories ever told -- and we can't wait to bring it to our air in a spectacular live event," Shana C. Waterman, senior vp event series at Fox, said for The Hollywood Reporter. "Its iconic characters and addictive songs make it the perfect fit for Fox, and we’re going to give it the kind of star power and production quality to make every Sandy, Danny, Rizzo and Kenickie out there want to get up and sing along."
The planned live broadcast follows the success of NBC's 'The Sound of Music.'
Fox is diversifying its programming output by scheduling a live performance of the production Grease Live to be aired on its channel sometime next year. The decision to bring the hit musical to the small screen has been prompted by the runaway success of NBC's The Sound of Music, which drew 22 million viewers last December.
John Travolta Memorably Played Danny In The 1978 Hit Feature Film.
Grease Live will reportedly feature a "young ensemble cast" and will be based on the 1971 Broadway version of the story with the songs that the 1978 feature film helped lend worldwide success, such as 'Summer Nights' and 'You're The One That I Want.'

John David Wilson helped revolutionize movie animation.
Many of us have marvelled at the animation in Walt Disney's 1950 classic Lady and the Tramp, though few will be familiar with the British-born animator behind the stunning visuals - John David Wilson, who died this week aged 93. Wilson, who honed his skills after being injured in the London Rifle Brigade's African campaign in 1941 with the, joined the art department of Pinewood Studios after the war.
John David Wilson Animated The Famous Opening Sequence To 'Grease,' Starring John Travolta
The WWII veteran was also responsible for animating the recognisable opening sequence of the 198 high school musical movie Grease, with John Travolta and Olivia Newton-John. In a long career with Disney, he worked on characters Mickey Mouse, Goofy and Donald Duck as well as movies Great Expectations, The Thief of Bagdad, though it will be his work on Lady and the Tramp for which Wilson will be best remembered.

Ah, the Christmas album. Everyone thinks they know what Christmas is about; it's about massive presents and force feeding, but really, in its essence, the festive season is about hurriedly compiled albums chocked with bad covers and even worse originals. To help organize proceedings, we're taken the liberty of formulating come handy categorisations that best describe the concept of Christmas Album. Enjoy.
The Creepy: Merry Christmas, Baby by Rod Stewart (2012) - Classics by the gruff voiced classic songster. It includes collaborations with: David Foster, Cee Lo Green, Mary J. Blige, and Chris Botti. You can grab it for $11.88, but why do that when you can get the special edition for $39.99!? Ooh Merry Christmas, Baby.
The Youthful: Now That's What I Call Today's Christmas! by Now Today's Christmas, Justin Bieber, Train, Coldplay and Norah Jones. Young people don't care about Cliff Richard and Rod Stewart, they like ipods, The X-Factor and falling over. This is the album for them!
What was obviously meant to be a sweet reunion and a great source of nostalgia for their fan base, seems to have back fired a little for John Travolta and Olivia Newton-John as their release of a Christmas album has been with widespread dismay and mockery, in spite of the pair’s best intentions (the proceeds taken from sales of the LP are going to charity after all.)
However, the actors – who shot to critical acclaim together with their co-starring performances in the hit musical Grease – have had another set back with a new Grease-themed video that was released this week meeting ridicule on Twitter. The video is for the single ‘I Think You Might Like It’, and was written for the pair by the same man who wrote their smash ‘You’re the One That I Want’, John Farrar. In it, the pair recreate scenes from the famous musical; however, with said musical being released well over 30 years ago some of the lustre has admittedly been lost.
Writing on Twitter, Guardian columnist Sali Hughes said: "This has blown my mind. Oddest video ever." US radio host Kelly Collis meanwhile wrote, "This is the most awkward Christmas Song with Olivia Newton and John Travolta." Meanwhile, New York Magazine’s entertainment section have felt moved enough by the whole thing to publish a list called ‘Ten Things That Creep Us Out About John Travolta and Olivia Newton-John's New 'Music Video’.

Ellen Degeneres has never been one to suffer fools gladly. When her recent chat show guest John Travolta tried to talk her through his hot chocolate obsession, guiding her through the various types of cocoa bean the world has to offer, she promptly cut him off, saying “I’m gonna interrupt just one second because this is incredibly boring.” Luckily, the Grease star was in on the joke and cracked a smile, as Ellen dissed his bizarre obsession.
In fact, Travolta was really on the show to promote the charity Christmas album that he is releasing with Olivia Newton-John. The album features guests such as James Taylor, Tony Bennett and Barbra Streisand. Oh… and Kenny G. “All the proceeds go to our charities. And they knew that so, once we told them that it was more impetus to help us,” Travolta explained. The moneys raised from the album’s sales will help the Jett Travolta Foundation, which the actor set up after the death of his son Jett. They will also help fund Olivia Newton John’s Cancer and Wellness Foundation.
The Jett Travolta Foundation aims to help people with autism and who suffer seizures, as they are “the least known areas of illnesses… and I feel bad that there’s so many people dealing with this and there are no answers for it.” However, he’s expanded the aims of the organization to include handicapped and underprivileged children.
John Travolta and his Grease co-star Olivia Newton Jon have teamed up on a Christmas charity single and have created a video for it. The single itself has been billed as a 'sequel' to the Grease song "You're the One That I Want" and has even been written by the same guy that wrote the original.
To accompany the single, the pair made a video and there's very little positive that can be said it. While the single is pretty bad, the video is terrible. To describe it as anything other than bizarre and bland would be futile, so check out the video below to judge for yourself.
"I wanted people to be able to play it around the house or in the car during the holiday, and make us part of your celebration," Travolta said in a statement, quoted by New York Daily New. "Gathering around the house listening to Christmas music has always been an important part of that time of year to my family."
