One Direction’s Live While We’re Young video is already causing mass hysteria amongst teenage girls in the Western World. The clip finally hit the web on Thursday (September 20, 2012).

Live While We’re Young was leaked earlier this week in a lo-fi incarnation of the pop tune, so in response, 1D have given their fans a real taste of their music by way of an official video. Hooray! "We wanted our fans to see the video and hear the single in the proper way so we've moved the premiere to tonight," said the band in a statement. "We're really excited about 'Live While We're Young.' We've worked really hard on it, and we can't wait for everyone to see and hear it later today!" The song's scheduled for an October 1, release. A statement on their behalf said: "The band did not feel that it was right or appropriate for the fans to hear the track as this illegal upload, so they have responded quickly." It’s nice, the way they care for their fans.

The track is the first single to be taken from the band's second album Take Me Home, which is out on November 12. One Direction have risen to astronomical heights very quickly, especially considering it’s been barely two years since Harry Styles, Liam Payne, Niall Horan, Louis Tomlinson and Zayn Malik shot to fame on TheX Factor.
