hi again oprah just wanted you to know that I watch your oprah lifeclass all the time. when i watched the one about dogs it had me crying so hard because like you I had a dog named elmo and he loved me uncondionally. i miss him so much he used to follow me in the bathroom because he couldnt even be away from me for 5 minutes. I got another small dog but its just not the same! I like to think his spirit is always with me. the lion named christion had me bawling again. I dont cry very much but i needed kleenex yesterday. ty so much for your lifeclass shows. It teaches me so much. I am grateful everyday for my blessings and I have alot to be grateful for. people need to stop and smell the roses! our world is such a beautiful place. I wish they could see it too
I have not verified the Oprah statement but if she did say so I would say Shame on her for such a callous and ignorant comment. Any Nigerian who supports Oprah's statement shoud be ashamed of himself / herself as well. It is equal to condemning all those our fathers, mothers, brothers, sisters, children and friends of Nigerian extraction who make an honest living in all parts of the world laboring and working and making decent and sometimes not so decent wages for their efforts.If she did make the statement, we should boycott her shows, her products, her persona and all things related to her until she publicly apologises. If she does not do so then so be it but we need to make our feelings clear. I regret even attending one of her live tapings at Harpo Studios.Other Africans are doing the same thing, Nigerians just have 140 Million population, recently 16 Kenyans were arrested in Kansas city for $16.5 million credit card fraud. Now are they Nigerians? Drug lords are killed in Mexico daily. so she should focus on other countries and leave us alone. Why did cant she build a school in Nigeria to help educate the young ones.

This has been the hardest week of my life. The prior week I worked 77 hrs with no thanks from my work. I absolutely love my job and the kids. I work for behavioral kiddos in group homes. Monday, I received a ticket for speeding because apparently my tires aren't calibrated to my spedometer. I walk into work and get demoted for not having a smile on my face. I only get 18 hours this week and then on Friday my boss calls me to rush to work to talk about my schedule. I get to work and get laid off because I need one weekend per month off so my kids and I can spend time together. That is the only time I see them and on their breaks. I also have hypothyroidism and herniated discs. I was laid off 2 days before Christmas! I am very disappointed. I never called off. I always came in early if needed and dedicated my life to this company. I am divorced and my ex was angry at me for these strange hours and wasn't going to deal with it anymore. Yet I rush to work to get laid off? I also owe Child Support because the judge stated I see my kids only 44 times per year which is not true and I live paycheck to paycheck. My family doesn't talk to me nor do I have any friends ever since the divorce.This divorce has also consumed my life. It has been 3 years and we are still going to court! My truck has consumed most of my money and still needs more work. I need some words of inspiration. Please!

Oprah,For years I tuned in daily to hear your words of inspiration and believed in a Rags to Riches Fairy Tale of a real woman wanting to help the world. As a 41 year old woman of 3 children, left by my husband of 17 years to share the debt of his disception...I lost hope in your supporting the voice of the common people. After I lost everything in our divorce, foreclosed on our home, my mother died from a long painful battle with cancer, down-sized from my job and back to waiting tables as a middle aged woman. It saddened me last year as you advised millions of viewers that it was acceptable to tip the service industry 10% during the recession. We make $2.13/hour, receive a THIS IS NOT A PAYCHECK stub, no benefits or 401K's, carry your heavy dishes back and forth, clean strangers filth off our hands, are treated like lower class citizens and rely on the generosity of strangers to put food on our tables as we pray nightly that our uninsured children remain healthy. I am surrounded with good people with degrees willing to do what it takes to work long hours on our feet to serve our fellow man. Enjoy your retirement you TEAR STRUCKEN BILLIONAIRE! POOR OPRAH! WHAT WILL YOU DO NOW WITHOUT MILLIONS TO BRAINWASH DAILY! BOO HOO!

Hi Opraha:I just got finished watching your show today with Goldie Hawn. I'm commenting on the topic of having more money can make you happy. Well, I'm here to tell you, YES, it would. I'm retired collecting $1,200.00 a month from social security, have a roommate who pays me $500.00 a month and let me tell you I'm not happy. I've been working for a temporary agency for the past six months and my first job has been completed. I've been off work for the past three weeks and quite frankly I don't know when I'll be working again. Being retired and applying for a job is very difficult. We're not wanted in the workforce. So, I'll tell you what....let's change places. You live on what I have and I'll live on what you have and let's see who is happier.From my standpoint, people who have money and are not happy just don't know what to do with it to be happy.I am one of your many fans, so please don't take this personally.Happy days,Lee [email protected]

I'm watching today's show with Suzie Orman and Nadya Suleman and I can't believe my ears. It is quite obvious to me that Nadya needs financial help and assistance and Suzie should stop trying to be an analyst and try a little encouragement. I see Nadya as a woman who made a huge mistake and she has paid for it and will continue to pay for it. It's so easy to judge and I'd like to see Suzie Orman look after 6 kids day in and day out never mind 14. Suzie needs to continue to be honest but learn to step on peoples toes without ruining their shine. Nadya said she wanted to be accepted and like, for God's sake give her a little affection. Nadya's sitting position will tell you how broken this poor woman is. Her shoulders bent, her hands rubbing.... my God have a heart. She needs manpower, not just advice.

Oprah is overrated and doesn't really help the people that really need help. Instead of replacing a truly educational network that helps people understand the world they live in with some nonsense network that you made up to make yourself feel better about being out of the spot light, go help starving children in Afghanistan, HIV-infected people in Africa, or the truly downtrodden civilians of North Korea. Use your millions of dollars to do something that can truly be commended. Send me and my low-class peers to college so that we can go on to be doctors and nurses after your generation dies.

I am very excited about your new network and have looked at the shows you have already planned to broadcast and they look very interesting. I was wondering if you would have an interest in doing a show that could include CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates). I believe that you are aware of our organization. We advocate for abused and neglected children. In our area of the country we are in need of funds and volunteers more than ever and I suspect that is the story nationwide. I am a retired social worker who is now the director of a CASA organization covering 2 counties and very much believe in what the organization does. We have one volunteer who used to be a CASA kid-so that is affirmation to me that CASA works!! FYI-the national CASA conference will be in Chicago in March and didn't know if you could do something on your show to spotlight CASA at that time or not. The legendary Ms. Oprah Winfrey, My name is RaeNequa Barber and I am a 19 year old mother of 2. I will (hopefully) be starting college soon and was wondering if you could help me with somehing. I am in desperate need of a car 2 get back and forth. I cant live on campus with 2 small children. My husbannd just joined the military so we rarely see each other and to be honest, my funds are very scarce. Im not asking you to pity me because I know that God almighty has a plan for everybody. My children have doctor's appts that i have to continue to cancel because of transportation issues. Once again, im not asking for pity, only help. I know that you are a very giving woman just from watching you show. Maybe you can help me and i'll pay you back in payments. Please think about it. Dear Oprah, Hi my name is tina and i need help despeartly, this is my story.My mom Stacey and little sister Brittany , lives by their self, and last year brittany burnd down their house. they lost everything, theres nothing left. And i feel so helpless because i cant help them in any major way that they need,theyre living in this shack that was beside the house that burnt. This house has no electricity nor does it have water useage.. I started watching Ms O when she first started out as talk show host! I was so proud of this young black woman,but as time went on she and her show seem to be geared toward the higher middle income and rich and famous. Therefore, I would just turn the station! But today her show called FUNNY was more down to earth. Monique she keeps it real at all time and I have no doubt the her upcoming movie "Precious will be a hit" Like she stated she just has to be herself! Lopez was funny! Along with the other quest. For a change it was about promoting a Dr. Phil, or Dr Oz. Thanks Oprah for keeping it real funny today! From a everyday retired woman that has raised 3 beautiful black females with only a 8 to 5 job! Now I know why it does not matter about money. Love and Laughter is what counts

Oprah, is an entertainer, she should stick to entertaining. How many of us, in our occupations can go flappin our jaws about our politics. I wouldn't be able to say, you should vote for Mitt Romney, before I stick you with a big old needle in your stomach. Most of us would find ourselves unemployed for sharing our politics with people we serve. Besides, Oprah hasn't exactly been making great choices lately.. Hello Oprah I ask that viewers hear my concerns.Subject: Where are the parents of old?Where are the parents? We celebrated Mother's Day recently and will celebrate Fatther's Day soon. We heard what a mother is and wil hear what a father is, but I ask where ar the mothers and fathers of old.We have bee stripped of our rights to raise our children. The Bible says spare the rod and you'll spoil the child. Look around. The Bible says train up a child and when he is old he will not depart from it Look around. The Bible says my son, do not forget my law, but let your heart keep my commands for length of days and long life and peace they will add to you Look around. You may say I don't see any thing or don't want to see anything but our youth are crying for attention. Look around. Look at the clothes they wear, not lnly the saggy pants but young ladies showing their under. Look around.If each parent would as "where are my children tonight. get up from the card table, come out of the bar, leave the pool table, the crack house, the smoke set, and see if your children are doning homework, in bed, watching something constructive on television, this city would be a better place.If we would consider our children they need the knowledge, the counsel, the call and value of wisdon. They need guidance. What are you going to do?When I heard that childrenas young as 10 years old are getting high I began to cry out to God on their behalf and I thought of the scripture if two of you agree on earth concerning anything that they ask, it will be done for them by my father in heaven.I am asking that when you your prayer meeting, Sunday morning service, Monday prayer, Tuesday youth meeting, Wednesday school and Bible study, Thursday choir rehearsal, Friday night service, Saturday church service, cry out to God to save our children, ask him what can you, your church, your group do to save our future.I submitted this letter to our citys' New Journal letter to the editor. After reading about teens stabing and shooting another in the face. Hi Oprah, my comment to you. well i sent you 3 mails don't think you got them its your workers that don't care or you don't get them. it was for 2 kids that wont have a xmas i took them into my apt to keep them from going to a home. i'm 59 years old on SSI and cant buy them a xmas, I sent you,Ellen,and 2 other people mails but nothing back for my babys but thank all of you and hope your xmas is a good one and think of my 2 babys on that sweet day god gave us thank you bye.
