Okay, so you have to be Oprah to do it. That woman is a money-making machine. She has managed to rake in over $12 million just by Tweeting about eating bread while on a diet. We're not even kidding. She's actually earning money by eating her favourite food while still losing weight and telling everyone about it.

Oprah WinfreyOprah Winfrey loses 26 pounds and still eats bread

The media mogul took to Twitter yesterday (January 26th 2016) to unveil the holy revelation to all the budding dieters out there, accompanied by a link to the Weight Watchers website and a 30-second video. 'Eat bread. Lose weight. Whaaatttt? #ComeJoinMe', she wrote. She elaborated in her video that she managed to lose a massive 26 pounds since starting Weight Watchers, a company of which she owns 10% of shares.

'This is the joy for me. I love bread', she says. 'I love bread. I now just manage it so I don't deny myself bread, I have bread everyday. I. Have. Bread. Everyday. That's the genius of this programme. I lost 26 pounds and I have eaten bread every single day.'

After that, Market Watch reported that shares for Weight Watchers International (WTW) went up 20%, that's from $11.49 to $13.37.

Honestly, we can totally see why this has happened. It's nearly the end of January, people have been all for losing weight since the year began, but there's always been scepticism around Weight Watchers. People are more drawn by the juice cleanses, the vegan diets, the paleo diets, the raw-til-four diets - the sort of thing the likes of Gwyneth Paltrow endorse.

But it's nearly February now, and most people have realised that those major lifestyle changes aren't doable, and they just want to eat normal food again. Weight Watchers claim that you can still eat your favourite food and lose weight at the same time. And if Oprah says it's true, who are we to be cynical?
