It surfaced over the weekend that Sharon Osbourne had thrown her husband Ozzy Osbourne out of their $10 million Beverly Hills mansion after alleging that he'd been cheating on her with a celebrity hair stylist. So far, it's all been a bit of a mess, but both Ozzy and Sharon have spoken out publicly now.

Ozzy Osbourne and familyOzzy and Sharon split after affair allegations

It's been 33 years of marriage and only days since Sharon joked about catching her husband in bed with her children's nannies while he was still using drugs, but things definitely aren't so funny now. Here's everything we know so far about the split and what we can expect from the pair in the future:

The History
While their marriage is one of the most recognisable in show business, mainly thanks to the 2002 MTV reality show 'The Osbournes', they haven't always had the smoothest of rides. The Black Sabbath frontman's many ventures into alcohol and substance abuse has taken its toll on their marriage; they regularly had physical fights and once Ozzy even tried to strangle Sharon. After being sober for many years, he relapsed in 2013 and the couple split temporarily, before he managed to go sober once again.

The 'Affair'
Sharon confronted Ozzy in the last week of April 2016 about an alleged affair with celebrity hairdresser named Michelle Pugh, and subsequently kicked him out. According to reports, she insisted she had 'proof' of the fling, perhaps searching through his phone for evidence. 'She has done that before but in the past she was checking if he'd been using drugs', a source told The Sun. 'Ozzy was extremely sheepish and admitted being close to Michelle. It is likely Sharon has discovered calls and possibly meetings.'

The Aftermath
Ozzy went missing for two days after the fight, but showed up at a luxury Beverly Hills hotel that reports say he's stayed at before during past arguments. However, he soon disappeared again and his concerned children Jack, Kelly and Aimee started to get worried. 'Ozzy is in a hotel somewhere and has taken his credit cards and some money with him', another source revealed to The Sun. 'But he is not brilliant on his own and is a bit like a puppy - he goes missing but then usually turns up sooner or later.'

Jack apparently even tried to contact alleged mistress Pugh at her work in LA's Meche, but she had cancelled several appointments and was revealed to be absent due to a 'personal emergency'. The Sun even claimed that she had erased Instagram posts with cryptic messages like: 'Love isn't keeping someone in your corral and under thumb, love is letting someone be with you who they can't with most - themselves' and 'Love IS all there is. A wise man said this to me recently, and it hasn't left my mind.'

Sharon also didn't turn up for work on Monday (May 9th), with her co-panellist on 'The Talk' Julie Chen telling the audience: 'Sharon understandably took today off. We are sending all of our love to her and to her family, and we ask that you do the same.'

The Current Situation
Ozzy re-appeared yesterday (May 10th 2016) and was spotted wearing his wedding ring while out and about in LA with Aimee. He even addressed rumours that he'd fallen off the wagon and started using again. 'I have been sober for three and a quarter years', he told E! News. 'I have not touched drugs or alcohol in that time. Any reports that I am not sober are completely inaccurate.'

Sharon has also spoken out, joining her ladies on 'The Talk' and addressing her personal dilemma. Now it seems that Ozzy is back at their marital home, but Sharon has decided to move out. 'It's right for me. I have no idea what I am going to be doing for the rest of my life', she said. 'I am 63 years of age and I can't keep living like this.'

The Future
On 'The Talk', Sharon opened up about whether or not she was planning to file for divorce. 'I honestly don't know', she said, and added: 'I love Ozzy dearly. He's given me unbelievable life. He's given me three gorgeous children and I love him.'

The situation is having quite the effect on Sharon's professional life too, as her current job on 'The X Factor' 'is now on the back burner'. 'If she needs to focus on making things work with Ozzy over the summer and the rest of the year, then trekking to and from London and Los Angeles will make things difficult', a source told The Mirror. 'Everything is up in the air at the moment, and the hours are counting down before Simon (Cowell) and ITV want to lock down the panel.'

Then there's Ozzy's own career; he's due to hit the road with Black Sabbath on June 1st, which will take him to Europe for a whole month. 'If Ozzy wants to get his marriage back on track before he goes to Europe he may have his work cut out', said another source in The Sun. 'Ozzy and Sharon are always arguing and she's kicked him out before but it feels more than that this time. It's hanging by a thread.'

Tomorrow (May 12th 2016), Ozzy is due to make a tour announcement with Slipknot's Corey Taylor at the Hollywood Palladium and press are forbidden to ask about his personal circumstances with the invite reading 'Please note: Ozzy Osbourne will speak only about his tour plans'.
