The 24-year-old singer has admitted she noticed the former 'The Simple Life' star singing along to her tracks when she was performing tan awards ceremony, and was utterly stunned when she looked out to the crowd to see her enjoying her gig, because she is a ''fan'' of the socialite and loved her song 'Stars Are Blind'.

Speaking to the Daily Star newspaper about the blonde beauty, Charli said: ''I've been really inspired by Paris Hilton, small dogs and a glitter, luxe lifestyle. I've never met Paris before, but we were both at the amFAR Gala during the Cannes Film Festival this year. I was performing and I saw her singing along to my song and I freaked out. I'm such a fan and one of my favourite songs ever is 'Stars Are Blind' - it's pop genius.''

Hollywood socialites Paris Hilton and Nicky Hilton indulged in a spot of sisterly bonding with a California shopping trip.

The sibling heiresses looked sunkissed and content as they shopped at Malibu Country Mart, their shopping bags reading such brands as Madison and Diavolina.

The pair were decked in their most summery apparel too, with Paris donning her trademark white-rimmed shades with a large sunhat, a starfish printed sundress and nude flats. She was also showing off her status with her quirky iPhone case which reads 'Queen Of F***ing Everything'.

If the reports are to be believed Kim Kardashian could be set to revive her music career, with the new bride said to be enlisting husband Kanye West to help her crack the charts this time around. Seinfeld fans can breathe easy after panic ensued following rumors of Wayne Knight’s death on social media site Twitter. The rumors claimed that the 58 year old had been involved in a fatal car crash, although Knight took the site himself to straighten things out, “Some of you will be glad to hear this, others strangely disappointed, but...I am alive and well!” before commenting, “Does someone have to DIE to trend? Geez! Thanks for all the love everybody. I didn’t know you cared. Glad to be breathing!”

Paris Hilton hasn’t really been culturally relevant for about half a decade now, but on a slow news day gossip hounds can always rely on the heiress to have done something scandalous enough to merit a headline. In this case, the issue was with the dress Ms Hilton wore to Diddy's Red Carpet Pre-Grammy Celebration on Thursday. It was a sequined black number, unremarkable in most ways, except for the fact that it had a sheer black V-shaped panel straight down the front, which showed off… well, not Paris’ underwear, because there was none, as Us Magazine reports.

This wasn't your average little black dress.

For some reason, the internet is having a fit over Hilton going pantsless, although she certainly isn’t the first person in history, or even in Hollywood, to do so. Although we have to give it to Mrs. Hilton – at 33, the heiress is looking as fine as ever.

Miley Cyrus has inspired more than one celebrity costume this Halloween. On Saturday (26th October) Hugh Hefner and his wife Crystal dressed as Robin Thicke and Cyrus at the MTV VMA's whilst Paris Hilton attended the same Playboy party dressed in Cyrus' VMAs teddy. The Cyrus - and Playboy- theme was continued by former Playmate Jenny McCarthy. The 40-year-old dressed as Cyrus' tongue!

For anyone who has missed Cyrus' favourite pose, it includes the 20-year-old sticking her tongue out as far as possible. McCarthy's costume consists of a large mouth surrounding, complete with a set of teeth and a large pink tongue which surrounds her head and ends around the middle of her thigh. The costume is brilliant but probably not the most practical.

It's that time of year again guys. We compile a list of the most bizarre celebrity Halloween costumes of 2013. We're not choosing the best costumes here - oh no - we're choosing the most ridiculous. Sort of the worst, but the best worst ones. You get the picture.

We anticipated that Breaking Bad Halloween costumes would be huge this year and so we've been disappointed with the celebrity effort on that front. Where are all the Jesse Pinkmans, the Walter Whites and the Gus Frings? Maybe they'll emerge later in the week but at the minute we're getting an influx of Miley Cyrus costumes, something we're not happy about at all.

We start with the frankly bizarre Paris Hilton, who still appears to be living life as a sweet sixteen birthday girl. She's 32. This year, she spent $5,000 on several ensembles for the annual Halloween party at the Playboy mansion on Saturday (October 26, 2013). Amongst them was the teddy bear outfit Miley Cyrus twerked in at the MTV Video Music Awards. She also put together a little Katy Perry 'Roar' jungle outfit.

Dancing With The Stars entered week five when it aired on Monday, 14 October, and almost immediately host Tom Bergeron put the pressure on at least half of the contestants as he revealed that "one of our female stars will be eliminated tonight" due to last weeks voting. The pressure was on the ladies to deliver, as the latest instalment saw the remaining celebs remember the 'The Most Memorable Year of Their Life,' and perform a dance routine that explains it best.

With Len Goodman back from London and in his judge's seat after a weeks absence, he, Carrie Ann Inaba and Bruno Tonioli cast their critical eye over the remaining contestants danced to the sounds of 1982, all the way to the present day. And before we move on to the dances, now would be a good time to say that one of next season's contestants may have already revealed themselves. Paris Hilton was in the stands cheering on pal Christina Milian, and when asked whether she could give the show a go she said, I can dance, but I can't dance like her! I could try it out one time, maybe."

First up to bat was Corbin Bleu, whose years of choice was 2011. It was chosen as his 'most memorable year'because it was the year his younger sister, Phoenix, was diagnosed with severe scoliosis. The now-12-year-old still has to wear a back brace because of the condition and Bleu dedicated his foxtrot to the girl who is "such an inspiration" to himself. And what a start to get the show under way, as Bruno declared, "You could be the lost child of Fred Astaire and Ben Vereen," before showing him a 10. Len and Carrie gave out 9's each. A Great start to get the ball rolling.

It is confirmed: pint-sized popstar Justin Bieber and manager Scooter Braun, are set to be blasted towards the real stars, out into space.

Tycoon Richard Branson, founder and chairman of travel, entertainment and lifestyle company, Virgin Group, was first to break the news on Twitter: "Great to hear @justinbieber & @scooterbraun are latest @virgingalactic future astronauts. Congrats, see you up there!" whilst a buzzing Bieber replied: "Let's shoot a music video in SPACE!!"

The 19-year old 'Baby' hitmaker could be fleeing planet Earth to escape from his growing list of shameful actions that have brought the wayward party-boy under media scrutiny, including leaving insensitive messages in the guestbook at Amsterdam's Anne Frank museum, abandoning his pet monkey, 'Mally', in Germany after she was confiscated at customs, arriving onstage two hours late at his concert in London, and threatening to "beat the f**k" out of a photographer. Space might just be the best place for the little reprobate then.

Paris Hilton says she learnt a few things about the infamous Bling Ring robberies on her home from director Sofia Coppola. The reality star heiress makes a cameo appearance in Coppola's new movie, based on the true story of how a group of San Fernando Valley youths robbed the homes of numerous high profile celebrities four years ago.

Though she was questioned by police about the thefts, Hilton says many of the facts about the robberies only came to light after she met with Coppola. "Sofia told me so many things I didn't know," Hilton, 32, told the Los Angeles Times at the Hollywood premiere on Tuesday evening. "I didn't know they tried to take my dog. I didn't know they were selling my things on Venice Boardwalk."

Hilton has been a prominent member of the promotional team for the movie and flew to the South of France to attend the Cannes Film Festival premiere last month, telling reporters the movie almost brought her to tears.

The tweed Chanel dress has been taken from their Fall 2013 collection and you have to admit that she looked utterly stunning in it. Watson added to the look with black and silver Giuseppe Zanotti heels as well as a black clutch bag and ear cuffs. Swanky.

There have been plenty of music comebacks this year, from David Bowie to Justin Timberlake to Daft Punk. But we all know the one you’ve really been waiting for, don’t we? It’s Paris Hilton of course! Tragically MIA from the music industry since her 2006 debut LP Paris (which, we were shocked to re-discover, went to number six on the Billboard charts and sold around 200,000 copies in the States,) she’s confirmed that she’s back in the music making game! And has signed a record deal with, um, a hip hop label!

Showbiz411 first reported the story, Paris is apparently already recording her second album and is putting it out on the world famous rap label CashMoney! And Lil Wayne’s possibly going to be one it! So does that mean that the multi-millionaire heiress is going to be spitting some mad rhymes on her forthcoming material? Not quite, though she insists that it will be a markedly different sound from her previous record. We can’t remember what her previous sound was, so we’re just going to nod blindly in agreement with her.

“This is a lot different than my first album,” Paris Showbiz 411. “It’s really going to be house music.” Sounds great! Perhaps. Ever the business woman, Hilton also revealed she was back at work on her fragrance ranges. “I’m getting ready to launch my 17th perfume,” she said. “And I’m also starting the Paris Hilton Foundation for children’s causes.”

Paris Hilton looks to have her career path mapped out for the next few years, as the heiress is apparently in talks with Cash Money, the gratuitous record label/franchise run by Lil Wayne. The heiress told Showbiz 411 that she is lining up a move into the chain that includes Drake and Nicki Minaj as well as Weezy.

Following her stand-out role in the video for 'Tapout', the track from the Birdman, Nicki Minaj, Lil Wayne, Future and Mack Maine collective Rich Gang, it seems as though Wayne's keen business acumen has made sure her talents didn't go unnoticed. Paris has also been spotted partying with the Cash Money crew on a number of occasions, even inviting Wayne to her recent birthday bash.

The swatting pranks in Hollywood continue, with the latest victims reportedly being Miley Cyrus (again) and Paris Hilton (also for the second time.) LA police still haven’t figured out who is behind the pranks, which means the incidents are continuing. According to TMZ, last night marked the second incident, where a fake emergency call was placed from the Cyrus residence. When the cops arrived, however, the coast was all clear. According to the report, Miley wasn’t even at home when the police stormed the place.

And the singer wasn’t the only one swatted this week. Another high-profile celeb, who got an unexpected visit by the police, was Paris Hilton herself. Another report by TMZ broke the story that Paris had been swatted for the second time mere hours ago. Apparently, the fake call claimed that someone was holding Paris hostage in her bedroom with a gun to her head. But once again, when the cops arrived, they found the home empty (with the exception of Hilton’s dogs). It wasn’t until the socialite came home later to find her house surrounded by squad cars, that she even realised what had happened.

It is unclear why the people behind the swatting pranks are doing them, or what they stand to gain – aside from the mild annoyance of some rich celebrities, but with Justin Timberlake, Khloe Kardashian, Selena Gomez, Russell Brand, Ryan Seacrest, Miley Cyrus and Magic Johnson all on the swatted list, this is officially turning into an epidemic.

The alarm bells started ringing when Sofia Coppola, the director of Lost in Translation and Somewhere, announced she would be adapting the story of a group of internet savvy Los Angeles burglars for the big-screen. Just as David Fincher's Facebook tale The Social Network vied for the top awards at the Oscars and Golden Globes, the idea of Coppola's The Bling Ring seemed likely to chime with the social media generation, and a new wave of younger Academy voters. 

Unsurprisingly, the Cannes Film Festival welcomed Coppola and her new movie with open arms for this year's event, where it will make its worldwide premiere. That said, should The Bling Ring pull in nominations for this year's awards season, it would represent a very different type of awards' success story. Firstly, its lead actress Emma Watson is hardly an awards' magnet, having really only starred in the Harry Potter franchise and a couple of lightweight dramas. Secondly, it features appearances from the likes of Paris Hilton and Lindsay Lohan in its examination of America's obsession with celebrity culture and the A-list mecca that is Los Angeles. Though we could imagine it scoring nods for the Globes, it would be a massive feat should The Bling Ring compete at the Oscars. However, it does have one thing in its favour: the director.

A new extended trailer for The Bling Ring - Sofia's Coppola's tale of youthful debauchery in the social media generation - has hit the web. It centers on the true story of a group of Los Angeles kids who used the internet to track their favorite celebrities and subsequently rob their homes when the A-listers were out of town. The teaser trailer gave us the first look at Emma Watson as the ringleader (based on Alexis Neiers), though the new clip offers an insight into her back story, home life and rationale for the thefts.

A movie from the same director as Lost In Translation and the slick Somewhere (also the sister of Moonrise Kingdom writer Roman Coppola) was always going to look good on-screen and the Bling Ring doesn't appear to disappoint. Essentially, the movie tells the story of America's addiction to celebrity culture and the Facebook, Google Maps and social media elements will no doubt appeal to those who enjoyed David Fincher's The Social Network and, perhaps, Harmony Korine's recent Spring Breakers. Something we didn't anticipate is Coppola's use of humor in the The Bling Ring, particularly from Watson's Nikki and Katie Chang's Rebecca. The trailer ends with one of the thieves asking a cop what Lindsay Lohan's reaction was to her stuff being taken. Another nice touch is the cameo of Paris Hilton, a real life victim of 'The Bling Ring.'

In perhaps her biggest departure from Hermione Granger and Harry Potter yet, Emma Watson stars as a teenage Los Angeles thief in Sofia Coppola's 'The Bling Ring.' The actress appears to be following the likes of Kristen Stewart and Selena Gomez and moving from family friends roles to provocative parts, and Coppola's movie is certainly controversial.

As the trailer explains, the plot is based on real events and follows a group of fame-obsessed internet savvy teenagers who went on a burgling spree of celebrity houses across Los Angeles in 2008 and 2009. Making headline news at the time, the fashionable crew hauled around $3 million in cash and valuables, largely from Paris Hilton's house, though also from pads owned by the likes of Orlando Bloom, Megan Fox and Lindsay Lohan. Ultimately, they knew when the A-listers were keeping up appearances in Hollywood, New York etc and consequently targeted their homes. Reality star and heiress Paris Hilton actually has a cameo as herself in Coppola's movie.

Taylor Swift was among the big winners at the People's Choice Awards last night (January 9, 2013)

Taylor Swift and The Wanted were undoubtedly the biggest names to take home People's Choice Awards last night at the 39th annual version of the event. Taking place in Los Angeles, the ceremony was also notable for other guests including Paris Hilton, Julianne Hough, Naomi Watts and Lea Michele. The entirely fan-voted for awards saw Taylor Swift take home the Favorite Country Artist gong, though she once again found herself in a 'Kanye' situation as Olivia Munn initially refused to give her the statuette. It was all for play though, with Swift laughing "Oh God... this always happens!"

Emma Stone is remaining silent on reports that a sex tape featuring herself and an old boyfriend exists. According to RadarOnline.com, the tape is yet to be shopped around and is still in possession of her former flame.

Celebrities usually like to nip these things in the bud - even when the rumors turn out to be true - but Stone is remaining completely silent. Similar in its methods to TMZ.com, RadarOnline.com is often on the mark with its scoops and the website quotes an 'insider' who says, "Emma Stone has a sex tape and that's a fact. She made it long before she started dating Andrew Garfield and before she really became a household name. She was just young and probably thought nothing would ever come of it." The source is close enough to Stone to know that she does not want the sex tape to emerge as it could damage her blossoming Hollywood career. "Emma's really happy with her career and proud of where she is," the source said.There's no way she would organize the release of the tape; in fact, she would fight to stop it. She has no respect for women like Kim Kardashian and Paris Hilton who became famous because they released a sex tape."

Of course, sex-tapes pretty much started the careers of both Kardashian and Hilton, making them millions in the process. The difference is, both were socialites and nothing more: Stone is an award winning actress with a ton of movies in the pipeline.

Ah, the Hulk Hogan sex tape. We're not sure what's more morally reprehensible: sleeping with your best friend's wife, or filming your best friend sleeping with your wife, stating on the film that “If we ever did want to retire, all we'd have to do is use this footage” and then leaking the footage world wide. Both are pretty bad, right? Well, the story is true and the main characters are Hulk Hogan and his best friend 'Bubba the Love Sponge'. Ah, perhaps it's his nickname that hits the top of that list of the reprehensible.

Hulk Hogan is now suing the Love Sponge and his then-wife for 'invasion of privacy'. The lawsuit, is to be filed in Florida on the grounds that “Bubba and Heather (also a defendant) conspired to roll tape during the wife's sexual encounter with the wrestler,” reports TMZ. Hogan has also warned his family that this may not be the only sex tape around.

A source that's allegedly close to the family stated: "Hulk is very concerned that a new sex tape could emerge. After the first video was leaked he warned Linda, Brooke and Nick that he could have been caught on camera in the past... The family is absolutely mortified their name has been sullied in such a tacky way. They never imagined that Hulk could drag them into such an embarrassing situation... The family is certainly bracing for the worst."

“I kissed a girl and I liked it,” sang Katy Perry on her hit record, and it looks as though Paris Hilton is singing from the very same hymn sheet. The Hollywood heiress made out with another girl at a nightclub in Las Vegas early on Monday (October 31, 2012), though it looks like the move was a bridge too far for her boyfriend, who just, well, started hitting people.

According to TMZ.com, a male clubgoer filed a report with the Las Vegas Metro Police Department claiming his girlfriend was “making out” with Paris inside the XS nightclub before the star’s own boyfriend River Viiperi got upset. The alleged victim claims Mr Viiperi decided to punch him in the face at around 2.30, leaving him requiring medical attention. The man told security staff that he wanted to press charges against River – a male model – and he was subsequently arrested once police arrived. He was cited for misdemeanour battery and released.

Hilton – who has not been accused of any wrongdoing - had already left the scene by the time cops arrived. Police say they will continue to look into the matter.

According to Dame Helen Mirren, Parris Hilton is the modern-day equivalent of Princess Diana. The Oscar-winning actress, who recently portrayed Queen Elizabeth 2nd in 'The Queen', insists that both Hilton and Diana have gained their popularity by making a name for themselves as more than just a 'dumb blond'.

Mirren explains: "I don't applaud Paris Hilton... but I think she's pretty cool. She's developed, like Princess Diana, that deliberate foolishness, which is disarming." You'd be wrong to think that Mirren is the only person to hold this view, as Hilton herself sees herself as the most recent member of an elite group of "iconic blondes" from history and popular culture.
