Patrick Schwarzenegger's family ''has no problem'' with Miley Cyrus.

The 'Wrecking Ball' hitmaker bonded with the 21-year-old student's uncle Anthony Shriver, who is the founder and chairman of Best Buddies, an international nonprofit that facilitates friendships and employment opportunities for people with intellectual disabilities, when they were in Miami for the Art Basel festival recently.

A source said: ''Anthony had a great time hanging out with his nephew and Miley during Art Basel. He said Miley was a lot of fun. As far as he's concerned, the family has no problem with her.''

The insider also told E! News that Patrick's mother, Maria Shriver, has no issue with his new girlfriend and think she is a ''very nice girl.''

Miley - who ended her engagement to Liam Hemsworth in September 2013 - and Patrick were introduced by mutual friends, even though they ''couldn't be more different'' to each other.

But the insider said: ''They might seem like an odd pairing, but they are quite good for each other. They've been friends forever.''

Patrick - whose father is actor Arnold Schwarzenegger - first revealed in 2011 that he had a crush on the former 'Hannah Montana' star.

After admitting he was single, he said at the time: ''My eye, though, is set on Miley.''
