Director Paul Haggis is offering a fan the chance of a walk-on role in his new movie Third Person to raise money for charity.

The auction winner will join stars Liam Neeson, Olivia Wilde and James Franco on the set in Rome, Italy and will get the opportunity to meet one of the actors and perform a non-speaking cameo.

The money raised will go to Artists for Peace and Justice, a charity founded by Haggis to combat issues of poverty and oppression in communities around the world.

The auction on closes next month (Nov12) and has already attracted bids of up to $4,500 (£2,800).
