The pair's friendship became strained in the 1970s and despite occasional get togethers, Simon and Garfunkel have never been able to put the past behind them and move on.

Just last year (15), Art called Simon an "idiot" and a "jerk" in an interview, and now Paul tells Rolling Stone the old friends have very little to do with each other.

Asked if he would consider another tour with Art, he tells the publication, "No, out of the question. We don't even talk."

Paul's 13th solo album, Stranger To Stranger, will be released in June (16).
