Fact: Inside Out director Pete Docter used his Oscars thank you scroll to break the news to his children that he's letting them get a new pet. At the end of the chyron, his written acceptance speech read: "I love you Amanda, Nick & Elie - okay yes, let’s get a dog." Docter earned his second Academy Award for Best Animated Feature. He previously won in the same category for Up.
