Pete Doherty will launch his first solo album in December

Pete Doherty has revealed his first solo album.

The 37-year-old singer has announced he will release his first LP in seven years, which will be titled 'Hamburg Demonstrations', on December 2, and the star has unveiled the lead single on the collection will be called 'I Don't Love Anyone (But You're not Just Anyone').

The rocker joined forces with The Libertines and Babyshambles producer Johann Scheerer whilst in Hamburg, Germany, where he relocated to for six months to complete the album.

The album will also see Pete's tribute to the late singer and songwriter Amy Winehouse, who died in 2009, which has been renamed 'Flags From The Old Regime'.

Meanwhile, another track called 'Hell To Pay At The Gates Of Heaven' was influenced by the November 2015 Paris terrorist attacks, which sees Doherty make reference to the late Beatles band member John Lennon and his guitars.

He sings: ''Come on boys choose your weapon J-45 or AK-47.''

Doherty has revealed he feels like he has a bigger role to play in the forthcoming solo album than he has done before and he really ''believes'' in the tracks.

Speaking previously about the records, he said: ''These new songs, this new line-up - I'm part of it, you know? It's a small group. There's more people in the band than there are in the whole crew plus management ... I'm really inside these new songs. I believe in them.''
