Rock legend Phil Collins has been rushed to hospital after suffering a nasty head injury after suffering a fall in his hotel room, it has emerged.

Collins sustained a gash to his forehead after reportedly falling over a step on his way to the bathroom of his hotel room in London this week, an injury that required surgery when he arrived at hospital.

He has been forced to cancel the remainder of his current residency at the Royal Albert Hall this week, with the shows on Thursday and Friday (June 8th-9th) postponed and set to be re-arranged for some point in November this year.

Is there a more cool collaboration anywhere than Phil Collins and the Roots? Didn't think so. The former Genesis singer and drummer teamed his band with Questlove and company for a stunning rendition of his classic hit 'In the Air Tonight' on 'The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon'.

The legendary drummer, whose best known for his sensational multi-Platinum debut single, joined Jimmy Fallon on his show on Tuesday (October 25th 2016) where he performed alongside another drumming genius, Questlove. Needless to say, Questlove absolutely nailed the world famous drum sequence from 'In the Air Tonight' and the crowd roared its approval when his time arrived. Indeed, he looked positively thrilled with himself after that, grinning with a mixture of relief and pride. Because there's no greater honour as a drummer than to perform with such a pioneer.

Phil Collins will do a comeback tour next year.

The 'Another Day in Paradise' hitmaker announced he was leaving the music industry in 2011 in order to focus on his family and his health but has agreed to play a five-night residency at London's Royal Albert Hall next June.

And his run of shows won't just stop there as he's also decided to play gigs in Paris and Cologne afterwards.

Rihanna joined the Beatles legend Sir Paul McCartney onstage during his Desert Trip set in California over the weekend, singing on a surprise performance of their 2015 hit single ‘FourFiveSeconds’.

The Barbadian-born pop megastar took to the stage during McCartney’s headline slot on Saturday (October 15th) at the Desert Trip festival in Indio, California – a gathering that also included Bob Dylan, Neil Young, The Who and The Rolling Stones and has been dubbed ‘Oldchella’.

Orianne Cevey, the former wife of Phil Collins has said the couple are planning to remarry, six years after divorcing. Last month Collins revealed the couple had rekindled their romance and that he had now moved back to Miami, to be closer to Orianne and their two sons.

Phil Collins and his ex-wife are planning to remarry.

Speaking to Swiss newspaper SonntagsBlick, Orianne said: “Our separation was the wrong decision. I now call Phil my husband again. We are so close that it does not actually make a difference if we are married or not, but we are determined to get married for a second time one day,” (via The Mirror).

Gary Oldman Blunder: Silly, silly Gary Oldman. The actor has earned himself a reputation as one of Hollywood's thinkers but his thoughts on political correctness caused a stir this week. In a Playboy interview, the 56 year-old referenced Mel Gibson's infamous 2006 run-in with the police where he voiced an anti-Semitic view. In an attempt to play down Gibson's words, Oldman ended up sounding an awful lot more anti-Semitic than his fellow actor. Find out what was said. Tributes continue to pour in for James Brian Hellwig, aka wrestler The Ultimate Warrior. Hellwig died just days after he was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame, collapsing on the sidewalk outside his Arizona hotel on Wednesday (April 9, 2014). The 54-year-old is survived by his wife Dana and two daughters.

The Houston Press have dug out a particularly cool story about the Warrior, which involves hit songwriter Phil Collins. In 1990, Collins was doing a CBS special filled with celebrity guests and "someone got the bright idea that the current champion of the WWF should be among them." At that point, it was the Ultimate Warrior, who had captured the title from Hulk Hogan.
