A Soviet Army monument has been spray-painted pink in the Bulgarian capital of Sofia - Wednesday 21st August 2013

A Soviet Army monument has been spray-painted pink in the Bulgarian capital of Sofia. Words written below the statue in Bulgarian/Czech language translate as ''Bulgaria Apologises''. This comes on the anniversary of the 'The Prague Spring', a period of political liberalisation in Czechoslovakia during the era of its domination by the Soviet Union after World War II. It is not known who is behind the vandalism. - Sofia Bulgaria - Wednesday 21st August 2013 (4 images)
