Flooding in Bulgaria causes damage near the capital city - Saturday 26th April 2014

Bulgarians and rescue workers searching for a missing family of 3 near the village of Vinevo, south-east of the Bulgarian capital Sofia, Saturday, April, 26, 2014. The bridge by the village collapsed Thursday night after heavy rainfall and flooding. On Friday morning, the family's car was found crushed by the bridge. On Friday afternoon the rescuers found the body of the wife, but the other three family members are still missing. The husband their daughter, and granddaughter are missing however. The intense rain caused damages in northwestern Bulgaria as well, where a dam overflowed on Wednesday and the level of rivers rose. - Vinevo Bulgaria - Saturday 26th April 2014 (11 images)
