The 23-year-old rapper has chopped off his signature messy long locks but hopes his change of image won't put off his fans.
The 'Better Now' singer shared a selfie of himself smoking a cigarette as he stared into the camera to show off his tidier hairstyle.
He captioned the image: ''had 2 big ass dreads. plz don't stop listening to my music'' (sic)
The 'Rockstar' hitmaker was flooded with supportive comments from fans who insisted his haircut looked great and would have no bearing over their decision to listen to his music.
One user wrote: ''You are absolutely perfect no matter what you do and your music is amazing!! Don't doubt yourself you have people all over the world that adore you!!''
Another said: ''If people stop listening to your music because you cut your hair, then they are idiots. It's about the music and the message you put in it, not your hair or appearance. I'll still be a fan no matter what changes you decide to do.''
Alongside his hair, the musician is famous for his copious amount of tattoos and the songwriter revealed recently that he only decided to get so much body art to prove he was ''tougher'' than Justin Bieber.
He admitted that he used to be to ''so scared'' at the thought of going under the needle, and only seeing how much body art his pal had made him change his mind.
The rapper explained: ''I was always so scared to get one and then I got one.
''We were working on [debut album] 'Stoney', and then we had a tattoo artist came through, and I was like, you know what? Justin Bieber's got some tatts, and I love you, but I know I'm way tougher than you.''
