Arkon Fly Share New Track '4 My People' [Listen]

Arkon Fly recently released their debut single 'Through The Fire' via resurgent iconic London label Locked On, the imprint who in the 90's helped unearth musical legends such as The Streets, Artful Dodger, Todd Edwards and Zed Bias among others.
 
The track was quick to get dancefloors and radio waves hot and bothered, going to No. 8 in the Music Week Club and Pop Charts, as well as enjoying regular rotation from everyone from Zane Lowe, Phil & Alice and Rob Da Bank and Toddla T to Mistajam , Nemone and DJ Target among others.
 
Ahead of their forthcoming second 12" single on Locked On to follow this summer, Arkon Fly are pleased share new track '4 My People', premiered via Pitchfork, which is also available to download for free via their website HERE. With its rave-inflicted carnival-esque funk house, complete with horns, church organs and bouncy synth bass, '4 My People' embodies the impressive showmanship and free-wheeling party spirit that define this duo.
 
Arkon Fly are the London based duo of multi instrumentalists, songwriters, producers and vocalists Big Jam and Bixby. Uniquely for electronic muscians, the duo sidestep the use of samples in favor of performing all the instruments and vocals themselves.  Winning early plaudits from the likes of Skream, Duke Dumont and Julio Bashmore among others, they bring together soul and blues inflicted vocals with deep electro house beats, Prince-adelic synths and jacking garage bass.
