Mina Tindle 'I Command' New Digital Single Released Today In The UK [Listen]

I Command is the first single to be taken from Mina Tindle's forthcoming second album.

Mina Tindle is a Parisian folk and new-wave singer, song-writer and multi-instrumentalist. Her debut  album Taranta (2012, Believe Recordings) garnered her international praise from tastemakers such as Pitchfork and Abeano blog hailing her sound respectively as "breezily cool" and "bubbly, offbeat pop at its best". While Uncut wrote of her debut: "anthemic, featuring strange, buried electronics which showcase her charming, clever pop" and The Independentcompared her "artful leftfield pop" with contemporaries such as Feist. Collectively the singlesBells and Lovely Day , taken from the debut album, received radio play from BBC 6 Music(Tom Robinson), BBC 2 (Chris Hawkins) and BBC Radio London as well as Amazing Radiowho invited Tindle in to record a session, while making Lovely Day 'Record of the Week'.

Tindle has previously collaborated with The National as guest vocalist on their acclaimedBoxer album and on her debut album, she collaborated with JP Nataf, frontman of French pop and new-wave icons The Innocents. 

Tindle's forthcoming second album is mixed by Craig Silvey (The National, Arcade Fire, Anna Calvi) and will be released  in Autumn 2014. The single I Command is available from today as a digital single. Both via Believe Recordings.

Mina Tindle will be supporting The National at their forthcoming Usher Hall, Edinburgh show on 10th July.
