Prince William and Catherine Middleton shared the first photos of baby Prince George; their four-week-old son and the one-day King of the United Kingdom and head of the Commonwealth of Nations. The proud father wasn't justs sharing pictures of his newborn child either, as the second in line for the throne spoke at length about his love and admiration for the little one, even if he is giving them a few sleepless nights.

Wills was speaking with CNN, without Kate, in his first official interview since the birth of their son on July 22, during which he discussed his newfound joy towards being a father, even though his new duties include a lack of sleep now. He referred to his son as "a bit of a rascal" during the interview with CNN's Max Foster, adding that he has already caused himself and Catherine their fair share of sleepless nights. He told Foster that George is "growing quite quickly actually," adding, "he's a little fighter - he wriggles around quite a lot and he doesn't want to go to sleep that much."

In spite of the restlessness though, he added that the child has been “doing very well” and that he and Kate are managing with the new addition well for now. He went on to mention that their pet cocker spaniel, Lupo, and their golden retriever Tilly, who can both be seen in one of the official portraits - which incidentally were taken by Kate's father Michael Middleton - were also coping well with the new addition to the family.

"As a lot of people know who have got dogs and bringing a newborn back, they take a little bit of time to adapt, but he's been all right so far," the Prince confirmed, adding, "He's been slobbering around the house a bit, so he's perfectly happy."

During his photo-unveiling discussion with the press, Wills also added that the newborn reminds him of his younger brother; Prince Harry, when he was a child, saying, "He either reminds me of my brother or me when I was younger, I'm not sure, but he's doing very well at the moment."

At the end of the interview, Wills went on to discuss how he is actually looking forward to returning from paternity leave from being a RAF search and rescue helicopter pilot so that he “get some sleep” at last. He joked, "I'm just hoping the first few shifts I go back I don't have any night jobs.”
