Forecasters issued a severe weather warning for the island, off the coast of England, as festival-goers braved heavy rain, but the storms did not halt the performances as acts including The Black Keys and Counting Crows rocked out for fans.

The Prodigy defied the wet weather to headline the first night, while rockers Blur top the bill on Saturday (13Jun15). Fleetwood Mac are expected to make a return to the stage to close the festival on Sunday (14Jun15) after recently cancelling two U.K. shows due to illness.

Britain's Download festival was also blighted by heavy rain on Friday as headliners Slipknot hit the stage. The event continues across the weekend (13-14Jun15) with performances from acts including Muse, Motley Crue and KISS.
