The Clipse star's new role was announced last month (Nov15) and at the time, Pusha T believed he had been handed the reins of the company because he shares the same vision for the label's future as his close pal and boss Kanye.

"He respects me as an artist, a really manicured artist...," Pusha T told Billboard.com. "When it comes to albums and things like that, I have a very manicured process, in which I get to take my time and I think he sort of respects that I get to take my time...

"Not to mention, ever since I've been on G.O.O.D. Music, there's been a host of artists that I've brought to the table, tried to sign, brought to his attention in trying to sign, whether something was super hot or I called it, 'It's not going to stand the test of time, it's wack'. I been pretty right in a few regards (sic).

"Those are the things he keys on (focuses on) as far as I go and just as far as being a part of the culture..."

Now Pusha T reveals he and Kanye are hoping to follow in the footsteps of fellow rappers Drake, Tyler, The Creator and Jay Z and establish their own annual music gathering for fans.

"G.O.O.D. Music is known for fan engagement," he tells Beats 1 DJ Zane Lowe. "I got (sic) a few goals that I want to make happen in regards to some type of G.O.O.D. Music Festival or at least start with a show. I feel like the fans don't ever get to see all of us on one platform."

Other acts signed to Kanye's label include John Legend, Q-Tip, Teyana Taylor and Big Sean.
