It seems as though Quentin Tarantino's dispute with Gawker hasn't put him off shooting The Hateful Eight, with sources confirming the cameras will roll in November. Insiders tell Showbiz411 that the cast including Samuel L. Jackson, Bruce Dern and Michael Madsen will gather to begin filming in Wyoming.

All three of those actors took part in a recent live-reading of the now infamous "leaked" script, alongside Kurt Russell, James Remar, Amber Tamblyn, Walt Goggins and Zoe Bell. Tarantino's close collaborator Christoph Waltz is not involved in the project, despite his award winning performances in Inglorious Basterds and Django Unchained.

Earlier this week, Tarantino said he'd "calmed down" after the shock of the leak and his subsequent lawsuit against Gawker - who provided visitors with a link to the screenplay but did not host the document itself. He confirmed he would be doing his second rewrite of the movie shortly, and that a third would follow.

Those who coughed up $200 for tickets to the live-read - in association with the Los Angeles County Museum of Art's film programme - described The Hateful Eight as a tense stage play more in common with Tarantino's early work. John Patterson of The Guardian said:

"What we see tonight is more reminiscent of Reservoir Dogs than of Tarantino's more sprawling recent work: two locations, both claustrophobic and teeming with mutual suspicion and recrimination, with much occurring off-screen or in flashback. Tarantino opens with a lengthy sequence in a stagecoach as it tries to beat an incoming blizzard to the nearest shelter, Minnie's Haberdashery. On board are John Ruth (Russell), a brutal bounty hunter nicknamed The Hangman because he brings them in alive to the executioner, and his racist, foul-mouthed charge Daisy (Tamblyn, excellent), a woman whose crimes are for now withheld, but whose vileness and venom are instantly evident (John Ruth enjoys punching her in the face - a lot)."

Wyoming was also the setting for some scenes of Tarantino's last movie Django Unchained.
