Rage Against The Machine star Tom Morello is calling on students in the U.K. to join him and his pal Billy Bragg in a protest march as part of the Occupy London demonstrations.
The guitarist met with Britain's anti-capitalist campaigners earlier this month (Nov11) during a visit to their base outside St. Paul's Cathedral, where activists have been camped out to protest against greedy corporate bosses.
Bragg has also offered his public support to the demonstrators and now the two musicians are teaming up to take part in a rally on Wednesday (09Nov11).
Morello, who also performs as The Nightwatchman, has taken to Twitter.com to rally support, writing, "London! Tomm (tomorrow) big student march ending at St Pauls. The Nightwatchman will Occupy London w/ (with) billy bragg around 4pm. Will you??"
The Occupy London protest is the U.K.'s version of New York's Occupy Wall Street demonstration, which began in September (11) and has since spread to cities across the world.
