Liotta claims the ex-cop who helped him research his role as Henry Hill for the cult classic later became a mobster, and he knew the guy was shady when his wallet went missing after a business lunch.

The actor recalls, "We go back (to the restaurant). This was, like, in Queens (New York), people all over the place walking up and down and all of a sudden, boom, there's my wallet. There's no question he took it from me, he took it from me and then I guess after he threw it on the street and said, 'Oh look, there it is'."
