"After a lot of careful thought and deliberation, I have decided not to return to the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills," Glanville revealed in her podcast on Wednesday (24th June). "I mean, they've been awesome. And Bravo will always be my family. Like Andy [Cohen] said, 'It's the mafia, you never really get to leave us.'"

Glanville also released a statement via Bravo’s website in which she described her experience on the show as “amazing” and “a complete rollercoaster of a ride”.

“I will always be thankful to Bravo for the opportunities that have come along with doing this pop culture phenomenon of a show,” Glanville added.

Glanville has been on the show since its second season in 2011. She initially appeared as a ‘friend’ on the show before being bumped up to cast regular. However, she’s often had run-ins with the other celebrity wives including restaurateur Lisa Vanderpump and, most recently, Lisa Rinna

Glanville is not the only Real Housewives star who will not be returning to the series. Kim Richards, who is currently in rehab for alcoholism, will not be back for the upcoming sixth season of the show.

As for Glanville’s future, she alluded to her plans in her statement to Bravo. She’s planning to work on her podcast, her wine business and her clothing line. Glanville did not rule out returning to the show in a guest capacity so she may be back on our screens before long.
