Wilson made the revelation in an interview with Marie Claire UK, for whom she is the July cover star.
Rebel Wilson has revealed why she has so far refused to get involved with nude scenes in her movies, saying that it’s because she’s mainly starred in comedies throughout her career and that the genre tends to treat the issue with less sensitivity.
Speaking in the July edition of Marie Claire, the 36 year old Australian star said that she was recently asked to take her clothes off for a scene is Sacha Baron Cohen’s new comedy Grimsby (known as The Brothers Grimsby in the U.S.) but that she refused.
“They wanted full-frontal nudity,” she recalled. “We write in the contract, specifically, ‘No nudity’. They got in another girl — this larger burlesque dancer from South Africa — to be a nude double. And they got her to do all this stuff. Sacha would go, ‘See, she looks good’. I’m like, ‘I’m not doing it. I don’t care what you say’.”

However, she would be prepared to nude scenes if the correct role came along, with a sensitive producer. “You want to know that the people [behind the camera] have a certain sensibility and decency,” she said.
Wilson, who is set to reprise her role as Fat Amy in the third Pitch Perfect movie, also spoke about her love life in the interview.
“I'm very independent,” she admitted, “to the point where I'm too independent. If you're a successful woman, you want to find the right person, but you don't necessarily need them. I don't know whether that sounds weird, but there's a whole crop of young women who are in that situation now. I don't want to settle for someone if they're not right but, because I get to do such awesome fun stuff all the time, I really want to share that with somebody. We'll see.”
“I'm definitely on the lookout,” she added. “I'm trying to put it out there, but I don't know whether the right person is in Hollywood - you only meet actors or musicians here.”
