Richard Gere has apparently found himself a new lady love according to new reports suggesting that the actor is dating Top Chef host Padma Lakshmi. E! News claims to have confirmed the news that the 64 year-old Pretty Woman star is "quietly spending some time" with 43 year-old Lakshmi whilst he films new movie Time Out of Mind in New York.

A source told the New York Post's Page Six that the pair "have been quietly spending some time together. It is all very new and recent, and happened while he has been filming in New York." However, the Primal Fear star is still in the process of divorcing his wife of 11 years, Carey Lowell, from whom he split in September 2013 due to reported "lifestyle differences."

The 64 year-old actor is now dating 43-year-old 'Top Chef' host Padma Lakshmi.

Gere only split form his actress wife of 11 years this past September (2013), but despite people thinking he has rushed into another relationship, it is "very new and recent."

Cindy Crawford has, for the first time, opened up about her divorce from Richard Gere eighteen years ago, citing the age difference as the primary reason for the split. The pair were married for just four years before calling it quits in 1995. "I think a lot of what happened with Richard and I was, I was still 22 and at 22 - as a young woman - I was kind of still figuring out who I was and what I wanted to be and he was already 37," Crawford explained to Oprah Winfrey for an upcoming episode of "Oprah's Master Class."

Crawford talked about the difficulties of dating Gere - then one of the biggest actors in the world - while she was still trying to forge her own career. "I just think your twenties for women is such a time when you're starting to come into your own and feel your own power and connect to your inner strength and it's hard to do that - it's hard to change - in a relationship, because what one person might have signed up for, all of a sudden, you're not that anymore," she said.

However, Crawford credits the Officer And A Gentleman actor for teaching her how to deal with her burgeoning fame. "When I would see how he was with fans when they approached him.. I got to look to him to see how he created boundaries for himself," she said. The model is now married to Rande Gerber, while Gere has been married to Carey Lowell since 2002.

The Golden Globes are one of the biggest film and television awards in the world. Winning an award from them will almost always top the C.V.s of anyone involved in film. 2012 has been one of the best years in film for a long time, with many films being deemed 'instant classics'. Although, of course, that's said every year, with just a quick glance at the calibre of performances, narrative and cinematography this year it's easy to see why it's being said.

2012's nominations were revealed today with few surprises. The favourites during speculation included Argo, Lincoln, Zero Dark Thirty and The Master, and they haven't failed to impress in the Globes' nominations. Lincoln's set to be a big winner with seven nominations, while Argo has 5 nominations, Zero Dark Thirty has 4 and The Master has 3. All four, except The Master, are also in the running for Best Motion Picture, competing alongside Ang Lee's Life of Pi and Quentin Tarantino's re-envisioning of a slave narrative, Django Unchained. 

Tarantino's film received 5 nominations, which included two in the category for Best Supporting Performance by an Actor, for Christoph Waltz and Leonardo Dicaprio, which proves to us that it's more than worth the watch. Best Director nominations mirrors the Best Motion Picture, and include Ben Affleck (Argo), Stephen Spielberg (Lincoln), Ang Lee (Life of Pi), Kathryn Bigelow (Zero Dark Thirty) and Quentin Tarantino (Django Unchained), which is no surprise really.

Hosted by the Academy, the Governors Awards gave plenty of Hollywood stars the chance to schmooze up to the organisers of the prestigious Oscar awards, in the hope that a strong social showing might lead to an eventual nomination when the big awards themselves come around in the new year. Does it ever work? Who can tell, but there were certainly a lot of the great and good out at the event on Saturday evening (December 1).

Emma Stone's alleged sex-tape does not feature her Amazing Spider-Man co-star and current boyfriend Andrew Garfield. RadarOnline.com previously reported how a home video of the Easy A star was in existence, though the website claims her beau Garfield is nowhere to be seen.

Stone, 24, is said to have "a wild streak that has culminated itself in the form of a homemade sex romp". Hmm. Radar even quote a source privy to the clip, who says, "Emma Stone has a sex tape and that's a fact. She made it long before she started dating Andrew Garfield and before she really became a household name. She was just young and probably thought nothing would ever come of it." The good news for the actress is that the tape is yet to be shopped around and "remains in the hands of the person she made it with." However, the source warns, "but that doesn't mean there's any guarantee that it won't eventually hit the market. The higher Emma's star rises, the more valuable that tape becomes."

Though it's worked pretty well for Kim Kardashian and Paris Hilton, the release of a tape would likely hinder Stone's promising Hollywood career. In fact, an insider said, "There's no way she would organize the release of the tape; in fact, she would fight to stop it." The actress next stars in comedy Movie 43, alongside Stephen Merchant and Richard Gere.

Channing Tatum has been named People magazine's Sexiest Man Alive for 2012, beating the likes of Ben Affleck, Denzel Washington and last year's winner Bradley Cooper in the process. The result confirms the fact that People magazine really, really, hate Ryan Gosling. 

Tatum joins a select club of Hollywood stars who have taken the title since the magazine began the feature in 1985. Mel Gibson, Nick Nolte, George Clooney, Brad Pitt, Tom Cruise, Richard Gere and Johnny Depp have been named the sexiest man alive, though the title still evades Ryan Gosling. Some of the Blue Valentine star's fans have already begun bashing their heads against keyboards across the globe. One user said, "channing tatum definitely isn't the sexiest man alive tho like what about joseph gordon levitt OR ryan gosling HELLO PEOPLE," while another said, "Eh, Channing Tatum sexiest man alive? I still think we have to give it up for Ryan Gosling, guy always gets the short end of the stick." Poor old Ryan. Anyway, Tatum, 32, hails from Alabama and is best known for a couple of soppy romantic-comedies, though turned in an excellent comedic performance in 21 Jump Street. Speaking in the latest issue of People magazine, the actor says he's ready to begin a family with wife Jenna Dewan-Tatum, "I'm ready; I think she's ready.The first number that pops into my head is three, but I just want one to be healthy and then we'll see where we go after that.It's really easy for us guys to say, 'I want like 15 kids. Jenna will be like, 'Well you better get another wife!"

The special issue of the magazine also hands out awards in other category, including Men of the Year, Sexy At Every Age and Hot Dogs (a list of Hollywood's dog lovers). Ryan Gosling got a nod in the latter, while Javier Bardem made it only to the scary sounding 50 Shades of Grey.
