The hip-hop star has been charged with kidnapping, aggravated battery and aggravated assault stemming from an alleged incident at his home in Georgia in June (15).

Ross is currently free on $2 million (£1.2 million) bail while the criminal case continues, but it has now emerged he has sued his accuser, groundskeeper Jonathan Zamudio.

In the legal documents, obtained by TMZ.com, the rapper reportedly accuses Zamudio of making up the allegations in a bid to land a payout.

Ross, who is believed to be fighting the claims against him, is accused of assaulting Zamudio with a handgun and using force to keep him in his guest house.
