No sooner did the premiere of 'Fifty Shades Darker' arrive earlier this year than Rita Ora started planning her role in the third film of the series. 'Fifty Shades Freed' isn't expected until early next year, but after this intense installment, it's no wonder some people are thinking ahead.

Rita Ora, who plays Christian Grey's adopted younger sister Mia Grey in 2015's 'Fifty Shades of Grey' and the recent sequel 'Fifty Shades Darker', is getting pretty excited about her role in the third and final movie having read the original trilogy by E. L. James.

'If you read the books you see how my character and the story in general really transcends throughout the trilogy', she explained at the 'Fifty Shades Darker' premiere. 'In the third one I get kidnapped. It's exciting. It's gonna be cool.'

It's quite the dramatic development for Mia Grey, whose role has been thus far pretty supplementary in terms of the plot compared with Jamie Dornan's Christian Grey and Dakota Johnson's Anastasia Steele. But as the storyline moves from pure erotica to flat-out psychological thriller, she gets to move more centre stage by 'Fifty Shades Freed' and is indeed taken hostage and held for ransom by Ana's former boss Jack Hyde.

Acting has been more of a side project for Rita Ora, who is best known as a pop singer with hits such as 'How We Do (Party)' and 'I Will Never Let You Down'. However, since her career began, she has also had roles in '90210' and 'Empire' (as herself) as well as the Antoine Fuqua boxing drama 'Southpaw' starring Jake Gyllenhaal which was released in 2015.

Her next acting project is fantasy drama 'Wonderwell' directed by Vlad Marsavin and which also happens to be one of Carrie Fisher's final movies.

'Fifty Shades Darker' is in movie theatres everywhere now.
