Tom Hanks' wife underwent a double mastectomy after she was diagnosed in April (15). At the time of her diagnosis, she stepped away from Larry David's Broadway play Fish in the Dark to give herself time to recover, but she returned the following month.

In May (15), doctors deemed Wilson "cancer free" and she is now heading out on a 20-city tour in support of her upcoming self-titled album, which will be released early next year (15).

Wilson's tour will kick-off in February (16) at the Cafe Caryle in New York, where she will perform a two-week residency, before heading out for single dates in March (16), beginning in Solana Beach, California.
