Robert Carlyle's Crime Comedy The Legend Of Barney Thomson Will Lead The Way At The 2015 Bafta Scotland Awards After Landing Four Nominations.
The Trainspotting star's big screen directorial debut will compete for the coveted Feature Film prize against What We Did On Our Holiday and 16 Years Till Summer, while Carlyle and his co-star Emma Thompson will each compete for the respective honours of Actor Film and Actress Film. Fellow acting nominees are David Tennant (What We Did On Our Holiday), David Elliot (Kajaki: The True Story), Elena Anaya and Elizabeth MCGovern, both for Swung.
Meanwhile, Carlyle is also shortlisted for Director Film/Television, facing off against Katie Morag's Donald Coutts and Gordon Anderson for Scrotal Recall.
BBC drama Stonemouth, based on the book by Iain Banks, is another multiple nominee with nods for Peter Mullan and Charlotte Spencer in the TV acting categories, and Television Drama.
Others to score mentions on the Scottish BAFTA shortlist include Michelle Gomez (Actress Television for Doctor Who), Katie Morag (Children's Programme) and Steven Moffat (Writer Film/Television for Doctor Who).
The awards, which celebrate the best of Scottish entertainment, will be handed out at a ceremony in Glasgow on 15 November (15).
