Ok, so David Cronenberg's latest movie Maps to the Stars - which premiered at the Cannes Film Festival in May - will more than likely pull in a sizable teenage audience, given it stars Twlight's very own Robert Pattinson. Though without making too many assumptions, a chunk of those paying their $20 may have thought better of it by the end of the satirical drama, which delves into the celebrity-obsessed culture that made Pattinson's vampire franchise a global hit.

It's written by Bruce Wagner, the tattooed Ambulance driver turned novelist who Cronenberg has compared to James Joyce. "He's unafraid to express the moment . to go to the darkest places. Hollywood is his Dublin," he told the Los Angeles Times, adding that Wagner is "a kind of star on the red carpet. He's not a typical writer. He's comfortable with cameras and microphones.

Director David Michôd revels in dysfunction and no more so in his highly anticipated film, The Rover. Following the success of Animal Kingdom in 2010, a film which followed the true criminal antics of one family, The Rover takes dystopia a step further. Guy Pearce and Robert Pattinson, as Eric and Rey, are forced to survive in a world on the brink of destruction where anarchy rules and weapons are essential for survival.

Pearce's character Eric has left the remnants of Western Civilisation behind and has chosen to live alone in the Australian outback. A criminal gang, including Pattinson's character Rey, steal a car from Eric. In the process Rey is injured and, after persuasion by Eric, the pair set out to find his brother and the stolen object.

Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart first met on the set of 'Twilight' back in 2009, and their love grew stronger throughout all five instalments of the vampire film series.

The stars of both Godzilla and X-men: Days of Future Past turned out for a pair of big premieres over the past week. Last time we invited you to think about what the Harry Potter films would have been like if other actors who had auditioned for the roles had won them instead of the cast that we’ve come to know and love. Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart have got big but perhaps very different years ahead. Next month sees the release of Dior Homme Eau for Men - a new fragrance that the French fashion giant plans to shift with the help of the 27-year-old British star. Since its arrival on YouTube, the black-and-white commercial for the fragrance starring Pattinson has racked up 15 million views.

"I like trying to do ambitious things," Pattinson tells the Wall Street Journal of the collaboration, "That's what got me really enthusiastic about the campaign, that [Dior] wasn't shying away from anything."

2013 wasn't a great year for Robert Pattinson. Henry Cavill has topped the latest poll by Glamour magazine to determine the '100 Sexiest Men Alive.' The Man of Steel actor took the top spot from four-time winner of the accolade Robert Pattinson, who after four consecutive years of being declared the world's biggest hunk, fell down to number two this year.

The Twilight-star has long been a favourite for the magazine when compiling their yearly list of sexiest men, but this year the spandex-wearing DC superhero Cavill proved too dashing to ignore, as he leaped to the top spot. Cavill was chosen as the sexiest man alive by the magazine on the back of his successful turn as Superman in the blockbuster Man of Steel, with his chiselled abs and facial features probably going some way towards securing his spot at the top of the poll too.

The creepy Twilight doll known only as Chuckesmee was supposed to serve as the love child of Bella and Edward in The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 2, the final chapter in the vampire franchise.

Fans have speculated over the doll for months, which was first mentioned by cast-members around the time Breaking Dawn came out though never made it into the final cut of the film - which is jyst as well, because it's without a doubt the most terrifying thing we've ever seen. 

Now, thanks to special feature from the Twilight Blu-Ray/DVD collection that's out this week, Chuckesmee is finally unleashed on the innocent public. Named after a combination of evil doll Chucky and Renesmee Cullen, the doll was said to have genuinely terrified cast-members and director Bill Condon called it "a giant misfire" and "a horror show," instead casting Mackenzie Foy to play the real life daughter of Edward and Bella.

It's been more than a year since photographs surfaced of her husband kissing Kristen Stewart and now Liberty Ross has finally found the courage to speak out about her heartbreaking ordeal.

The model's life was thrown into turmoil in 2012 when images emerged of her husband, director Rupert Sanders, enjoying a romantic tryst with actress Stewart who starred in his movie Snow White And The Huntsman. "I have no words to describe what we went through," Liberty told Vanity Fair about her struggles in the relationship following the incident. "It was horrible. It was really the worst."

After it happened, both guilty parties made public apologies - with Kristen mainly aiming it at her then-boyfriend and 'Twilight' co-star Robert Pattinson. However, it wasn't enough for Liberty, who admitted she had to estrange herself for a little while to cope with the pain and media attention and ended up living in a house borrowed by a friend of her brother Atticus along with her children Skyla and Tennyson.

One Direction really do have everything after all. In a recently compiled list by Heat Magazine, the boy were revealed as the highest earning entertainment stars under-30's in the UK, with a combined worth of almost £60 million. Individually, the boys would be placed just outside the top ten, however when their wealth is combined they come out on top by a narrow margin.

Last years top spot holder, Harry Potter star Daniel Radcliffe, was ousted by the combined earning power of the mega-successful boy band, who have an estimated worth of over £12 million each. The boys were included to the list as a joint entity because most of their earnings have been made as a group, rather than through independent ventures. Narrowly missing out on reclaiming his top spot for a third time, Radcliffe came in second this year with £56.19 million. Something tells us that the Kill Your Darlings actor isn't losing too much sleep over being ousted from the top spot.

UPDATE: British pop star Rita Ora has been cast as the adopted sister of Christian Grey, who will now be played by Irish actor Jamie Dornan. 

The 50 Shades of Grey movie appears to be in turmoil with just over two weeks before a huge crew descends on Vancouver for the first official day of shooting, with Universal and Focus Feature expecting to release the movie - based on E.L. James' erotic novel - in August, 2014.

Robert Pattinson seems to have finally moved on from 'Twilight' ex-girlfriend Kristen Stewart as it seems he has found a new female acquaintance with the daughter of Hollywood Legend Sean Penn-Dylan Penn.

Rumours about the two were first reported by Life & Style as they claim on September 7th the vampire heartthrob enjoyed a steamy night out in LA'S Viper Room with the 22 year old model.

An eye witness told the mag, who was in the clubs green room, that "they were touchy-feely and very flirtatious. There was a level of comfort there," the fellow partygoer explains. "You could tell they've hung out a few times."

Robert Pattinson was spotted canoodling with Mia Wasikowska on camera recently - but don't worry, it was just for a particularly steamy scene in his new movie Maps To The Stars.

The 'Twilight' star is in the front of the limousine for once as he takes on the role of driver and aspiring actor Jerome in the new drama. As well as starring alongside Mia, who plays feisty pyromaniac Agatha Weiss, Pattinson will also appear alongside John Cusack, Julianne Moore and Carrie Fisher.

Getting the hang of cruising in a limo is one thing, but what Robert finds most difficult to get his head round is the romantic scenes, which he has previously admitted is 'awkward'.

At the Teen Choice Awards, held on Sunday 11th August, Lea Michele dedicated her award to Cory Monteith. Michele won the award for Choice Actress in a Comedy for her role as Rachel Berry in Glee.

Michele lost her boyfriend and Glee co-star over a month ago and has attempted to remain out of the public eye since. It was first held in 1999 and has gradually grown increasing popular with the passing years. This year, according to the Teen Choice Award Website, over 150 million teenagers voted on the various categories.

Kristen Stewart told a paparazzo he was "a piece of sh*t" who didn't "deserve to breathe the same air". The footage, which has since been leaked to TMZ, shows a different side to the Stewart. However, the video is clearly edited and only shows Stewart's reaction as opposed to the paparazzo's, probably inappropriate, questions.

The footage starts with, presumably, one of Stewart's minions waiting outside a L.A. building, where Stewart is hiding behind a gate and is obscured by its mesh. The paparazzo asks Stewart "why are you saying f**k off?" to which Stewart replies "because you're a piece of sh*t". She continues making friends by saying "you don't deserve to breathe the same air I do". She continued to insult the paparazzo before confirming her identity by leaving the safety of the gate to enter a car.

Katy Perry has set the record straight when it comes to her relationship with Robert Pattinson. It seems highly unlikely, judging from her recent interview with Elle magazine, that the 'Part of Me' singer is having a liaison with the Twilight star.

She felt it was particularly important to emphasis the amicability of her friendship with Kristen Stewart, Pattinson's former co-star and ex-girlfriend. After rumours circulated relating to Perry's alleged involvement with Pattinson, Perry text Stewart to clear up any misunderstanding. In the Elle interview, she said "I sent her a text message saying: 'I know you've seen all this stuff but you know I would never disrespect you. I'm not that person.'" She went on to verify that she was "just trying to be a friend to him" and commented on the unfair assumptions the media made simply because she happened to be female and comforting her friend.

It’s been two months since the Kristen Stewart/Robert Pattinson breakup, but apparently the split is still hanging heavy on Stewart’s mind. The truth of that statement is questionable though. While unnamed sources for Entertainmentwise claim that the actress still hasn’t quite gotten over her old flame, her exploits of late seem to suggest otherwise. And while Paris might be the city of love, Stewart seemed to be coping fine on her own as she lit up the red carpet at the Zuhair Murad and Chanel shows. The actor who played Edward Cullen and the target of many a frenzied tweenage fan melt-down, Robert Pattinson, is set to be back in the game; only weeks after his split with Twilight co-star and long-term on/off girlfriend, Kristen Stewart. The Daily Mail reports that the pair were spotted speeding around L.A in Rob's pickup truck over the past weekend.

The relationship, described as "short-term lust right now rather than long-term love" by The Mail's source, is rather too out in the open for heart-broken Stewart, who is said to be "devastated" that her long-time lover has moved on from her since their May split. After the initial reports that Rob was dating 'I Kissed A Girl' singer Katy Perry, this last rumour is just a bit too painful for the 23- year-old. Keough and Stewart are said to be good friends after meeting on the set of 2010's The Runaways movie where they co-starred. Keough was certainly close enough the On The Road actress to be invited to her 23rd birthday celebrations - she was pictured attending Stewart's Mexican cantina birthday party.

It wasn't long ago that everyone was talking about Robbert Pattinson and Katy Perry potentially being an item now that the who R-Patz-K-Stew love affair is over, but before those rumours even got the chance to turn into something more concrete, Pattinson has been spotted with another young lady on his arm and set the rumour mills in motion once more. The woman in question is actress/model Riley Keough, who is the granddaughter of the King of Rock Elvis Presley.

The Twilight actor was seen driving back to his Los Angeles mansion last weekend with a mystery woman in the passenger seat, with the New York Daily News identifying the mystery woman as Keough - who is Lisa Marie Presley's daughter and the step-daughter of Michael Jackson. The two were seen in Rob's red pickup truck on Sunday (June 30) making their way back to his house after apparently spending the night together in town, although nothing else is known about their blossoming relationship.

50 Shades Of Grey just became the biggest movie event of summer 2014 that isn't about super heroes, with Universal announcing their plans to have the film out by August 1 2014. The film will be quite the change from Guardians of the Galaxy, the Amazing Spider-Man 2 and X Men: Days of Future Past, but with a director, script and now a release date all lined up, the much-discussed movie adaption looks like it might finally happen after all. Still no work on who will be in it though, but that's just details.

So we know when the movie should be out, and providing director Sam Taylor-Johnson can keep things on track as soon as we get our Anastasia Steele and Christian Grey, then things are looking good. Taylor-Johnson was chosen to take on directing duties earlier this month and her announcement behind the camera has obviously given the producers confidence enough to push forward and commit to a date for when we'll see it on screen. Relatively inexperienced as a director, Taylor-Johnson could prove a competent pick nonetheless having achieved praise for her only work so far; the John Lennon biopic Nowhere Boy.

Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart have split up again, according to fresh reports over the weekend. Sources tell People magazine that the young couple called it quits after more than three years of dating, though representatives for both could not be reached.

The news follows online reports that Pattinson failed to show up to a celebration of his 27th birthday, arranged by Stewart. Prior to that, the pair had appeared to be going strong and were spotted together at the Met Gala in New York before they flew back to Los Angeles on May 8. They celebrated Stewart's 23th birthday together and held hands at the Coachella music festival - this after the infamous cheating scandal that rocked their relationship in 2012. Stewart had a brief fling with Snow White and the Huntsman director Rupert Sanders last July and made a very public apology to Pattinson. The duo reunited less than two months later and appeared to be back to normal, until now.

An insider privy to the latest split says it wouldn't be a surprise should the famous pair get back together in the near future. Stewart is about to begin work on comedy-drama The Big Shoe with Elizabeth Banks and Jim Sturgess, while Pattinson will star alongside Carey Mulligan in James Marsh's thriller Hold On To Me.

Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson – after everyone thought they’d never hear the two names together in a sentence, the stars had a miracle reconciliation, only to break up again, it would seem. According to People Magazine, after a turbulent four-year-long relationship, which saw the actors’ rise to fame, survived the scandal of Stewart’s infidelity and seemed to have continued afresh this year, the pair have called it quits. The news hasn’t yet been confirmed, as reps for the actors haven’t been reached for comment.

The breakup seems to have been brewing for a while, with reports that, instead of celebrating with his girlfriend, the Water for Elephants actor bailed on the plans she had made for them. Beer and pool tables have been mentioned, so it does look like Kristen went all out – the snub probably wasn’t pleasant.

But before that it all looked like sunshine and happiness, as the duo attended the Met Costume Gala together earlier this month and they partied it up at Coachella. So there are two possible versions of this: either Rob and Kristen change their minds about each other with lightning speed, or we’re not getting the full picture of their relationship. The latter seems more likely though, since both of them try not to address their relationship too often and remain coy about their personal lives.
