A video of an actor impersonating some of Robin Williams’ most iconic characters has going viral, so far notching up over a million views on Youtube. The two minute tribute made by look-a -like and fan Jamie Costa features impersonations of 20 of Williams’ most famous characters mashed together.

Williams passed away last August.

Titled ‘Never Had A Friend Like Him’, the video puts together 20 Williams impressions in just over two minutes. Costa, who bears a striking resemblance to the late star, impersonates a range of characters from Williams’ career including Mork, Mrs Doubtfire and Peter Pan.

The widow of Robin Williams and his three children from previous marriages are currently embroiled in a legal battle over the comedian's vast estate, with everything from clothing to action figures set to be the subject of intense negotiations.

The suicide of the best-loved actor and comedian Robin Williams was the most searched for term on Google in 2014. Internet users searched for news on the Mrs Doubtfire star more than for the football World Cup (second), the Ebola virus (third) and the missing Malaysia Airlines flight (fourth).

The 63-year-old Good Will Hunting star was found unresponsive by paramedics in his house in in Tiburon, north of San Francisco, at around 11:55 am on Monday. He was pronounced dead at the scene, with the coroner’s early assessment pegging the cause as asphyxiation.

In the lull between big awards shows, media attention turns to Super Bowl halftime performances and adverts, while award-nominated actors and filmmakers travel around the world to squeeze in their next projects before Bafta and Oscar nights. Judi Dench is in India filming The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel 2 with the reunited cast from the original. Chiewtel Ejiofor is in New Zealand filming something top-secret. Cate Blanchett is taking a well-deserved holiday. Meanwhile, Ben Stiller and Robin Williams have been snapped on the streets of rain-swept London filming scenes for Night at the Museum 3. We braved the British weather to snap the filming in action.

We got our first glimpse of the comedy-drama A Long Way Down this week, with a new trailer that plays up the film's black humour and warm emotion. Pierce Brosnan, Toni Collette, Aaron Paul and Imogen Poots play four people who meet as they're planning to end it all by leaping from a London skyscraper. In the media circus that follows, they make a pact to live for at least one more month. It looks funny and rather sweet, with the terrific cast on great form. It's out in March. Can you smell that? It’s the smell of all our favorite shows coming back! The biggest winner of TV premiere week so far seems to be Robin Williams, who emerged victorious from his Thursday matchup with Michael J. Fox. There he was on Thursday night, drawing in 15.6 million viewers to the returning CBS comedy The Crazy Ones, while Fox’s The Michael J. Fox Show only managed 7.2 million. Crazy also beat Fox in the highly prized by advertisers so-called “young adult” demographic. We suspect quite a few people in this demo were away from the TV entirely, streaming episodes of other shows, but that’s beside the point.

It was a sizeable win for Williams.

To be fair to both shows, however, the rest of the Thursday lineup could have had something to do with the considerable gap in ratings. While The Crazy Ones was preceded by a double bill of the wildly popular (for whatever reason) The Big Bang Theory, which averaged 18.9 million viewers, The Michael J. Fox Show came after the much less popular Parks and Recreation, which drew in just 3.3 million.

James Gandolfini was remembered by his The Sopranos co-star Edie Falco in an emotional tribute to the late actor during Sunday (22 Sept.) night's 65th Annual Emmy Awards. In a ceremony that featured a number of memorials to fallen stars, Falco's appraisal of her on-screen husband was by far one of the most poignant of the night as she led the ceremony into a hushed remembrance of the acting great.

Falco, who played the long-suffering Carmela Soprano in the ever-popular series, fought back the tears as she remembered the late actor, who passed away in June aged 51. She remembered Gandolfini as a man of "tremendous warmth and heart" and who was "uniquely generous," being nothing like the character he will be best remembered for.

The Butler has outperformed all of its rivals upon its first weekend, having been released on 16th August to much nodding from critics and $25 million (£15.9m) earned. The film showcases an all-star cast, who portray a period of dramatic social upheaval in America, set around the life of the not-entirely-fictional butler, Cecil Gaines (Forest Whitaker).

Gaines serves as a butler in the White House for 34 years and eight presidents and uses his unique position to witness important presidential discussions of national civil rights issues as the historical events play out. The movie charts such landmark events as Martin Luther King Jr.'s assassination, the Vietnam war, the Nixon resignation, Obama's presidential campaign and the Voting Rights Act of 1965. Gaines' character is based upon the life of Eugene Allen who worked in the White House from 1952 to 1986.

Lee Daniels' The Butler has defeated other newcomers Kick-Ass 2 and Jobs in the US Weekend Box Office. The Butler has headed straight to number one whilst Kick-Ass 2 and Jobs have respectively gained 4th and 7th place.

The Butler has made $25 million in its opening weekend and has gained critical praise. The historical epic is inspired by the true story of Cecil Gaines, a black butler who whilst serving at the White House, saw the offices of eight presidents. His life and family form a touchstone for the audience when addressing such historical events as the Civil Rights Movement and the rise of Black Power in the US.

Lee Daniels' The Butler is released today in US cinemas. Early reviews of the historical drama have been mixed although most suggest the film is definitely worth a watch.

Robin Williams is set to make a TV comeback over 30 years after Mork & Mindy was taken off the air in 1982. The legendary actor is ready to implement a lifetime of funny man antics – and some serious stuff, too – as The Crazy Ones hits CBS September 26th.

“You have to establish a character that people buy into," Williams told reporters at a Television Critics Association meeting in Beverly Hills, according to Reuters. "I think people will buy into not just my character but the relationship with everybody else. He has good ideas and bad ones."

If anyone knows about creating lovable characters, it’s Williams, from Jumanji to Mrs Doubtfire, from Professor Philip Brainard to Sean Maguire in Good Will Hunting. This isn’t Williams’ first appearance on the small screen though; numerous cameos have punctuated his absences from TV, our favourite being on Louie, where he plays the mutual friend of Louis C.K’s – it’s a sombre yet hilarious turn, and portrayed a mature side to his often goofy style.

Should you be mad if John Travolta steals the limelight at your wedding? It was a dilemma faced by a newly married couple in Georgia over the weekend when the Oscar nominated actor turned up at the nuptials after meeting the bride and groom-to-be at a local bar the evening before.

A friend of the groom shared pictures of Travolta at the wedding on Reddit, posting, "My friend ran into John Travolta the night before his wedding, and he shows up the next day." Rocking jeans and a casual black T-shirt, the Hollywood star happily posed alongside the wedding party for a group shot, as well as getting snapped with the bride and groom. He even did a huge thumbs up.

It's not the first time Travolta has pulled the surprise stunt. He and actor Robin Williams turned up to a wedding back in 1977. "We were having fun, starting to relax [at a restaurant near Travolta's home in Santa Barbara], when we saw there was a wedding next door," Travolta told USA Today, "We figured we'd crash it.They figured out who we were. Some guy yelled out, 'Hey, they really are Mork and Vinnie Barbarino!"

The Station Agent actor Peter Dinklage has joined the cast of the latest X-Men movie Days of Future Past. Director Bryan Singer announced the news on Wednesday (February 13, 2013), tweeting, "Officially like to welcome Peter Dinklage from Game Of Thrones to XMEN Days of Future Past. Very very excited!"

The casting of Dinklage is a strong move from Singer and the team - he won Best Supporting Actor at the Golden Globes in 2012 for his role as Tyrion Lannister in HBO's Game of Thrones. It's yet to be determined which role he will play in the forthcoming X-Men movie, which is co-written by Matthew Vaughan, the director of the previous movie. The franchise has spawned five movies so far, including the 2009 Wolverine spin-off. A follow-up to that film, The Wolverine, is due out this summer with Hugh Jackman's character travelling to Japan to train with a Samurai warrior.

It’s safe to sayMila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher have definitely gone public with their relationship. The Hollywood stars were photographed holding hands while going for a stroll in Central Park, New York, on Monday (September 17, 2012), reports US Weekly magazine.

Kunis, 29, was beaming with delight on her public outing with Ashton, 34, and the pair shared a kiss while sitting on top of a big rock. Aww. The couple have played down a relationship for months, though it all appears to be official now, and they recently enjoyed a romantic vacation together in Bali. Kutcher is in New York to be with Kunis while she films ‘The Angriest Man’, a comedy movie starring Robin Williams. In the August issue of Interview magazine, the actress – who first met Kutcher on the set of ‘That 70s Show’ – said, “Listen, in five years I do hope to have a family, and, you know, who knows? I've always been a big proponent of not working for the sake of working, because I don't want to work for the rest of my life - I want to live. So I'd rather work to live than live to work.”

Ashton split from wife Demi Moore last year, while Kunis was previously in a relationship with Macaulay Culkin.
