ROSIE O'DONNELL's adopted daughter has moved back in with her birth mother.

The 53-year-old star has reportedly cut Chelsea O'Donnell, who was found safe in New Jersey by police last week shortly after the former 'The View' co-host revealed she had been missing for seven days, off financially after she decided to reunite with her biological mother, Deanna, on her 18th birthday on Monday (24.08.15).

A source told gossip website TMZ.com that Rosie advised the teenager not to leave with Deanna, who gave her up for adoption in 1997, but Chelsea opted to move back to Wisconsin with her after she drove to New York to pick her up.

The insider also claims the comedienne refused to give Chelsea her birth certificate or social security card.

A source close to former 'The View' co-host Rosie, 53, previously admitted she was ''extremely concerned'' about Chelsea, who is battling mental illness and stopped taking her medication before she went missing, after she was found in the company of alleged heroin addict Steven Sheerer, who has since been charged with child endangerment and distribution of obscenity to a minor.

Rosie and Chelsea enjoyed a peaceful reunion last week after police located Chelsea approximately 130 miles from their home by tracking a signal from her mobile phone just hours after Rosie issued a public appeal for any information on her whereabouts.
