Kraddick died suddenly in New Orleans whilst hosting a charity golf tournament. The event was in aid of his 'Kidd's Kids' foundation which provides support and rest bite for terminally ill children and their families.

According to Dr Granville Morse, a deputy coroner at the Jefferson Parish Coroner's Officer, Kraddick complained about feeling unwell at the golf course. He later collapsed on the drive to nearby Ochsner Medical Center, where doctors attempted to revive him.

The autopsy results are not final as the toxicology results have not returned to the coroner's office. It is believed Kraddick's heart was enlarged by cardiac disease, according to Fox News.

Kraddick is famous for his Texas based talk shows. The 53-year-old was hugely popular with fans and his radio guests. Many of these guests have tweeted their condolences including Kelly Clarkson, Demi Lovato, Harry Styles, Dr. Phil, Joe Jonas and Ryan Seacrest.

Seacrest tweeted: "so sad hearing about my radio brother Kid Kraddick. One of a kind and one of the best at what he did every morning. U will be missed Kidd."

In a statement issued on Kraddick's Kidd's Kid foundation website he was described as a "a dear friend and leader" by his colleagues. Others have described him as "a lovely man" (Harry Styles) and a "pleasure" to know (Demi Lovato).

Further results from the autopsy are likely to be released this week when the toxicology results are back.
