Vegas, a recognisable face in British comedy, has appeared in several BBC sitcoms and in British films such as Kinky Boots and The Harry Hill Movie. He has become known for his dry humour and acerbic wit. However, this will be his first role in a big budget production.
Filming has kicked off, with the cast and crew be heading to North East Lincolnshire on June 4. The Radio Times reported that shooting had been taking place at North Weald station and the Epping Forest area of Essex this week. The cameras will roll for six weeks in Britain before filming moves to South Africa in the autumn.
