Sara Gilbert, who is the creator and co-host of daytime talk-show 'The Talk,' has tied the knot.

The 39 year-old actress married her longtime musician girlfriend Linda Perry this past Sunday (March 30th), in an intimate ceremony.

Fellow stars took to social media sites to gush about the couple's big day, which was witnessed by close friends and family.

Juliette Lewis tweeted: "Holiday by Madonna playin, sun is beaming, gettin ready 4 the wedding of 1of my fave couples in the universe @RealLindaPerry @THEsaragilbert."

Aisha Tyler, who is her 'The Talk co-host, also praised the wedding as "an amazing night. The most beautiful ceremony @ sunset over-looking the ocean."

The newlyweds got engaged nearly one year ago after Perry proposed while they were enjoying a picnic at a Los Angeles Park.

And when the singer/songwriter popped the question, she did it in style.

"We have food and we're eating it, it's really sweet and there's this guy sitting playing guitar, like a street musician, and he starts playing this song that we love, that's kind of popular right now. And I'm like, 'Oh, that's so weird, this is so magical and amazing,'" Gilbert recalled.

"So that ends, and she's like, 'Oh, I'm gonna ask him to play this other song,' but this other song is really obscure and this guy wouldn't know it, but magically he knows it," she continued.

Then the former 'Roseanne' actress described how fellow picnickers pulled out instruments from under their blankets and all joined in to play 'Love Song' by The Cure.

At this moment Perry pulled out of her bag five t-shirts with each baring one word across the front, which eventually formed the question "will you marry me?" And to add icing on the cake, Perry made sure all their family members were there to witness the breath-taking moment.

Congratulations to the happy couple.
