The Can't Buy Me Love star was found dead, aged 43, at her home in Greeley, Colorado after her concerned father alerted authorities to check the property when he could not reach her.

Smallville star Michael Rosenbaum writes, "So sad to hear about Amanda Peterson's death. She was one of my first crushes. God bless ya lady. #CantBuyMeLove." and Dane Cook offers, "this is tragic... I had the biggest crush on her when that movie came out. RIP Amanda Peterson."

Actress Meredith Salenger, a childhood friend of Peterson, writes, "Rest in Peace my dear old friend. Amanda Peterson. I loved you" while Boy Meets World star Will Friedle adds, "One of my first crushes ever died today. She was young, talented and beautiful. RIP #AmandaPeterson...thank you for the beautiful dreams."
