Ashby Trailer

Ed Wallis has never really been the popular boy in his class and the thought of having to move to a brand new school and start over isn't exactly his idea of fun. Starting over in a new location with his mum, Ed soon becomes an easy target for the class jocks but he doesn't let it bother him. When he's given a new assignment from school to speak with and write an essay on an older person, Ed doesn't know where - or rather who - to turn to, that is until he sees his neighbour might and thinks he might be just the person to speak to.

Though hesitant at the start, the neighbour agrees to speak with Ed. After the duo spend some time together, Ashby and Ed soon open up to one another and form an unlikely friendship. Ashby teaches Ed some much needed life lessons and vice versa.

Ashby was written and directed by Tony McNamara and had its premiere at this year's Tribeca Film Festival. Natt Wolf recently starred in Paper Towns with Cara Delevingne and The Fault in Our Stars alongside Shailene Woodley.

Wittels' body was discovered by his assistant at 12pm in the 2200 block of North Hobart Boulevard, confirmed Los Angeles Police Department Officer Rosario Herrera. Authorities suspect Wittels died from a drug overdose - he was found slumped on the sofa with drug paraphernalia nearby - though the cause of death will be determined by the county coroner's office. The comedian had spoken openly about his battle with drug addiction and had been to rehab twice.

Here She Is, Your SNL Host, Sarah Silverman

Sarah Silverman Maroon 5

Sarah Silverman, comedienne extraordinaire and author of The Bedwetter: Stories of Courage, Redemption and Pee, hosted SNL last night and, in her words, it made “all the sense in the world”. We’ll have to agree on that one. Silverman does a lot of standup and recently got her own HBO special, so her comedic flow is kind of perfect for SNL.

Sarah Silverman
Sarah Silverman was pretty much the perfect voice to bring into the SNL mix.

Silverman took the stage in a mismatched suit and tie and started with a Yom Kipur joke, before going for some audience participation and jumping in a studio guest’s lap for a lengthy heart-to-heart. We’re not picking favorites or anything, but that kind of raised the bar for every SNL host from thereafter.

Sarah Silverman Emmy Awards

Sarah Silverman took pot to the Emmys. Yep, it happened. The comedienne headed down the red-carpet and stopped for a quick chat with E!'s Giuliana Rancic who was asking celebrities to empty the contents of their purses on television. For some reason.

Anyway, Silverman was only too happy to give Rancic a sneak peak in her bag - even though she was carrying drugs. We say drugs, we mean a vaporizer pen, which is perfectly legal in the state of California - providing Silverman has a valid medical marijuana prescription.

A Million Ways To Die In The West Review

Very Good

After the success of Ted, Seth MacFarlane gives himself his first leading-man role in this hilarious but overlong comedy-Western. The film is clearly a passion project, as it reveals MacFarlane's love of the genre with knowing jokes in between the usual gross-out humour. But it also feels stretched rather thin, and would feel even funnier with a zippier pace and tighter story.

In 1882 Arizona almost anything can kill you. Albert (MacFarlane) is a sheep farmer who has very little respect in his tiny frontier town. His girlfriend Louise (Amanda Seyfried) has just dumped him and taken up with smug Moustachery manager Foy (Neal Patrick Harris). And his best pal Edward (Giovanni Ribisi) has issues of his own, determined to wait until marriage to have sex with his fiancee, the town's most popular prostitute Ruth (Sarah Silverman). Then a stranger rides in: Anna (Charlize Theron) is trapped in a marriage to the local outlaw Clinch (Liam Neeson) and needs a place to hide. And in Albert she finds the kind of nice guy she thought didn't actually exist in the West.

MacFarlane's most clever decision was to surround himself with terrific actors who can effortlessly play both comedy and drama. As a result he just about gets away with a performance that doesn't stretch him at all. Theron is especially good, bringing an offhanded humour to her scenes that grounds the entire film. She may roll her eyes at the bad jokes while laughing openly at the good ones, but she stays firmly in character, which makes her scenes with MacFarlane and Neeson crackle with all kinds of romantic energy.

A Million Ways To Die In The West - Clip

Albert is a rather introverted sheep farmer who tries at all costs to avoid confrontation with the occasional gun-toting outlaw who may pass through the small Arizona town in which he lives. His reluctance to engage in any kind of combat has cost him his girlfriend, but on the upside, he's still alive - which is more than can be said for a large percentage of townspeople. There is danger is every turn and Albert is feeling a little low in confidence - that is, until the arrival of the town's feisty new resident Anna. She wants to show him how to aim and fire a loaded pistol and, generally, how to win a fight, which is just as well because one man is on his way over with the intention of dominating the town with his formidable reputation. Unfortunately for Albert, he's Anna's estranged husband and, with Albert having spent so much time with her, it is starting to look like he's finally run out of luck.

Just days after Lindsay Lohan allegedly released a list of her famous bedroom partners, Seth Rogen has revealed all the Hollywood stars that have joined him for a premium pot-smoking session. Rogen - the star of Knocked Up, Pineapple Express and Neighbors - has made no secret of his penchant for a smoke, and now we know who he's lighting up with.

During an interview with Watch What Happens Live, Rogen said: "This is really depressing for me to say ... I've never smoked weed with James Franco because he doesn't smoke weed. That's why he's such a good actor! It's really sad, actually." The friends starred together in the stoner comedy Pineapple Express.

A Million Ways To Die In The West - Greenband Trailer And TV Spot

Albert is one of the more lucky men living in his doomed Arizona town, mainly because he hasn't yet died; quite a feat for a sheep farmer who can't fire a gun in a time where outlaws rule the West. After one failed confrontation on his part, he is promptly dumped by his girlfriend, but this doesn't prove to be a bad thing when an extremely attractive and feisty new resident shows up in the town. Albert agrees to show her around her new neighbourhood, while she decides to help him man-up and learn how to gun fight properly. It's just as well because he soon finds himself facing mortal peril at the arrival of her ruthless outlaw husband - and he's not the only one who'd rather avoid confrontation this time. With his new friend's encouragement, however, he tries to step-up and take charge of the situation - let's just hope his luck hasn't run out by now.

Following the success of his live action directorial debut 'Ted', 'Family Guy' creator Seth Macfarlane is back with western comedy 'A Million Ways To Die In The West' in which he stars, directs and co-wrote with Alec Sulkin an d Wellesley Wild ('Dads ', 'Ted', 'Family Guy'). The movie is set to be released in the UK on June 6th 2014.

Grammy Awards Glory: Last Sunday's Grammy Awards proved probably the most spectacular ceremony in living memory. The most enviable of all performance line-ups entertained a near-record 28.5 million viewers, with Madonna, Daft Punk, Beyoncé and Jay Z, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, Kendrick Lamar, Imagine Dragons, Stevie Wonder, Nile Rodgers, Ringo Starr, Sir Paul McCartney, Nine Inch Nails, Queens of the Stone Age and Dave Grohl all showing off their skills.

As for the small matter of the actual awards, Pharrell Williams, Daft Punk and Macklemore & Ryan Lewis were the evening's big winners whilst newcomer Lorde picked up two gongs and Jay Z and Justin Timberlake, Rihanna, Kacey Musgraves and Black Sabbath were also prominent victors. This, year, perfect pop princess Taylor Swift went home empty-handed, which made for some pretty funny videos.

He gets dumped by his girlfriend for his spinelessness - but as a passive individual, he's still one of the luckiest guys in his neighbourhood having so far avoided death. This is a town where the residents are constantly in danger at every corner, but Albert finds his inner strength at the arrival of an attractive and feisty new resident who is willing to death him how to fire a pistol and stand up to his adversaries. And it's just as well when a dangerous outlaw shows up and starts to try and run the town, revealing that he is the husband of Albert's new female friend. Could his luck be up this time?

'A Million Ways To Die In The West' Is A Whip-Cracking Western Comedy As Immature As 'Ted' [Pictures]

Seth Macfarlane Liam Neeson Charlize Theron Amanda Seyfried Giovanni Ribisi Sarah Silverman Neil Patrick Harris

A host of pun-tastic and risqué posters has been released ahead of the release of Seth Macfarlane's new comedy western, A Million Way To Die In The West. Starring Amanda Seyfried, Sarah Silverman, Neil Patrick Harris, Liam Neeson, Charlize Theron, Giovanni Ribisi, and MacFarlane himself, the movie certainly pulls no punches when it comes to rounding up a killer cast.

As well as directing, co-writing and producing the comedy, Seth also takes on the role of cowardly sheep farmer Albert. After Albert backs out of a gunfight, his fickle girlfriend (Seyfried) leaves him for another man. However, the farmer hadn't counted on a mysterious and beautiful woman (Theron) riding into town, who helps him find his courage.

Monty Python Reunion

Dead Parrot's alive! Like David Bowie's comeback in January, we were stunned this week when the surviving members of Monty Python announced they would be reuniting for a special-one off stage show at London's O2 Arena. Find out why John Cleese will not be doing the funny walk.

Jennifer's on fire! Ok so we always knew The Hunger Games: Catching Fire would probably outdo the original at the box-office, though what we didn't expect was that the teen franchise flick would be critically acclaimed. Of course, it could have all been very different - check out the alternative Hunger Games cast here.

Sarah Silverman Returns Jimmy Kimmel's Old Toothbrush On His Talk Show

Jimmy Kimmel Sarah Silverman

Sarah Silverman appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live on Thursday night (14th November). Unfortunately for Kimmel, the focus wasn't on Silverman's comedy routine or recent HBO special but their previous romantic relationship.

Jimmy Kimmel and Molly McNearey
Jimmy Kimmel and Molly McNearey married earlier this year.

Kimmel introduced his guest by focussing primarily on her comedy career, with a small reference to how "there's nothing awkward about her being here." However, Silverman immediately forced the conversation on to their seven year long relationship by presenting Kimmel with an unconventional guest gift: a box of his old things. Kimmel looked distinctly uncomfortable but dealt with the situation surprisingly well.

Sarah Silverman Braves The Critics And Posts Failed NBC Pilot Online

Sarah Silverman Jeff Goldblum

You win some, you lose some – the latter has been the case for Sarah Silverman’s Susan 313 pilot. The show was to be picked up by NBC...until it wasn’t. The plot is fairly simple, though we trust that with Ms Silverman’s comedic ability, it could have been a smash success. 313 centers around Susan Farrow (Silverman), a recently single woman moving back into her old apartment building. It also stars (or starred, anyway) Tig Notaro, actress/Casey Wilson’s writing partner June Diane Raphael, and Harris Wittels, the Parks and Recreation writer. Oh, and there’s also Jeff Goldblum. We can’t imagine what went wrong there.

Sarah Silverman, The Walking Dead Screening
Silverman wasn't a sore loser.

It could have been a much needed breath of fresh air, a primetime female-driven comedy for NBC, unfortunately now the series will never get made. The good news is that fans of the comedienne will at least get to see the pilot, courtesy of Ms Silverman’s own YouTube channel. And yes, it is pretty funny. Any show, which features a Wreck-It-Ralph reference within its first minute must be worth its salt.

P Diddy "Revolts" Against The Rise Of Online Media By Launching New Music Channel

Sean Combs Sarah Silverman

P. Diddy has been silent in the way of new music for a few years, which in today’s climate translates as about a century. However the rapper/producer/entrepreneur is coming back with a new venture – a brand new music channel, Revolt, targeting that oh-so-precious 13-33 demo, also referred to as the rather strained and unpleasant term Millennials.

The rapper is convinced he can fill the vacuum, left by MTV.

'According to Diddy’s recent comment at the TCA Conference in LA, quoted via The Independent, young people are flocking to the internet for entertainment, but that’s only because “there just isn't anything engaging on TV."

Wreck-it Ralph Review

Very Good

Visually ambitious and packed with inside jokes for arcade gamers, this colourful animated adventure is an enjoyable romp but is probably too energetic for its own good. It simply never settles down so that we can sink into its various settings or get to know its lively characters. So in the end we've enjoyed the talent of the animators and the vocal cast, but we feel rather exhausted.

The story is set in a vintage 1980s arcade game called Fix-it Felix Jr, in which Felix (voiced by McBrayer) must repair damage inflicted by Ralph's (Reilly)massive fists. But after 30 years, Ralph is tired of being the unloved villain. He wants to be the good guy for a change, so heads across the room into another game, the combat role-play adventure Hero's Duty. There he's trained by tough-talking squadron leader Calhoun (Lynch) and battles space insects to win a medal and escape. But a killer bug follows him into the candy-themed road-race game Sugar Rush, threatening the balance of the whole arcade.

The majority of the plot takes place here, as Ralph teams up with unloved "glitch" Vanellope to challenge the smiling tyrant King Candy (Tudyk). Unlike the pixellated Fix-it Felix Jr and the virtual reality of Hero's Duty, Sugar Rush is a pink-hued, delicious-looking land of sugary treats. Each of these games, and the transfer station between them, is populated by spirited characters with their own subplots. And there are also appearances by iconic favourites such as Pac-Man, Mario and Q*bert. So with the different animation styles and eclectic ensemble of characters, our eyes aren't bored for a second.

Video - Sarah Silverman Has Sympathy For Rabbi Who Lashed Out At Her Online

Jewish comedienne Sarah Silverman is questioned by paparazzi about her dad's recent feud with an orthodox rabbi who had criticised her in an open letter online. Of her father's comment to the letter, she said: 'My dad, he thought seven people would see it. He didn't know; he was just like commenting on the comment site.' She then went on to express sympathy for the rabbi. 'That comes from an unhappiness in yourself, right? When you started getting obsessed with a stranger and how they decide to have their life', she said.

Take This Waltz Review

Excellent
After the remarkable Away From Her, actress-turned-filmmaker Polley is back with another bracingly observant drama, this time exploring the point where relationships cease to be something new. The film is a bit indulgent and downbeat, but it speaks so eloquently that we can't help but be moved.

In Toronto, Margot (Williams) is happily married to Lou (Rogen), but she feels that their relationship is only expressed through humour and that work interests divide them. So it's not surprising that, after a chance encounter with neighbour Daniel (Kirby), Margot starts to consider straying from her marriage. She holds Daniel at arm's length, but is intrigued by everything that's new about him, including his more adult way of talking about sex and relationships. Is taking this leap scarier than waiting around for her marriage to come back to life?

Wreck It Ralph Trailer

Arcade game bad guy Wreck-It Ralph has been doing the same job for over 30 years; smashing up pixelated buildings only for Fix-It Felix to fix them again and save the day. Ralph starts to find it difficult to enjoy his job when nobody else seems to like him for it. He attends a group therapy session with other gaming villains including 'Street Fighter''s Zangief, 'Super Mario Bros'' Bowser, 'Sonic the Hedgehog''s Doctor Ivo Robotnik/Eggman, Kano from 'Mortal Kombat' and a 'Pac-Man' ghost. While they try and convince Ralph that he is not really a bad person, Ralph makes the massive decision that he no longer wants to be the bad guy anymore which shocks the group. He goes on a game-hopping journey and ends up on 'Hero's Duty' where he meets the tough Sergeant Calhoun. However, his game-hopping gets the arcade world into trouble when he accidentally unleashes a deadly villain on the candy racing cart game 'Sugar Rush'. Will Wreck-It Ralph fix it this time and save the day?
