Scott Disick's mother, Bonnie, died suddenly a fortnight ago last. Her death was confirmed by media outlets last Thursday (7th November).

Scott Disick
Scott Disick's mother, Bonnie, has died at the age of 63.

It seems she died suddenly at the age of 63, as E! reports. Disick, an only child, was brought up on Long Island, New York where his mother lived with her husband, Jeff.

Although initial reports suggested Bonnie's death was 'sudden,' it may be less unexpected than first appears. It seems Bonnie may have been suffering from a long term illness which was, to some degree, responsible for her death. This may explain his absence from Kanye West's proposal to Kim Kardashian and Kendall Jenner's 18th birthday celebrations. However, these points are yet to be confirmed by Disick.

Disick is the partner of Kourtney Kardashian. The couple have been in a relationship since 2006 and have two children together: Mason, aged 3, and Penelope, aged 1. Kourtney's mother, Kris Jenner, recently discussed her daughter's relationship with the Disick.

Bonnie and Jeff both featured on an episode of the Kardashian's reality series franchise, when Kourtney took Mason, her son with Disick, to see them in the Hamptons. This episode was a part of Kourtney & Kim Take New York which aired in 2011.

Disick and Kourtney visited New York a fortnight ago in order to, presumably, deal with arrangements following Bonnie's death. It seems, according to reports in the LA Times, that Bonnie's wake was held on 30th October. From there, according to People, they continued on to the Dominican Republic.

Earlier this week, the couple were spotted once again in New York and had to miss Kourtney's mum, Kris Jenner's, 58th birthday celebrations on Tuesday (5th November).

30-year-old Disick has not commented on the death of his mother.
