Netflix Sean Astin

Recently it was leaked that 'Stranger Things' season 2 would indeed see the return of Millie Bobby Brown as Eleven, and now we have some more information about the new characters that we are set to meet when the new series arrives on Netflix next year.

Stranger Things'Stranger Things' returns with some new characters

In September we learned that at least three new characters would be arriving for the next season, one of those being a young woman named Roman. She has been described as 'an emotionally damaged, magnetic young woman who suffered a great loss as a child' and will be played by up-and-coming Danish actress Linnea Berthelsen. It's difficult to tell where Roman's character will fit into the story, given that she is not a resident of Hawkins, but she will have something to do with what's going on in the lab.

The Goonies 2: Can The Original Cast Reunite For Another Adventure?

Sean Astin Josh Brolin

Its been a long, nearly thirty year wait for fans of 1985’s The Goonies, but now it seems a sequel is in the works with director Richard Donner, and what’s more, he wants to reunited the original cast. Donner made the announcement in a rather unspectacular fashion whilst he was filmed by gossip site TMZ signing autographs. Donner was asked if he ever planned to do another comic book movie and he replied, "if you call Goonies a comic book. We’re doing a sequel.” Then, when asked if any of the stars from the 1985 movie were going to return he said "hopefully all of them".

Goonies director Richard Donner confirmed a sequel to TMZ

Rumors of a Goonies sequel have been floating around for the best part of a decade. Back in 2004 the rumors started but it then seemed Warner Brothers studio just wasn’t interested in giving The Goonies another outing. Next the rumors resurfaced in 2009, but this time things seemed a lot more likely, with talk of Richard Donner being on board. Once again though nothing happened and Goonies fans became used to constant talk of sequels and remakes, with original cast members divided on whether or not the gang would ever hit the big screen again. Sean Astin always seemed positive, but Corey Feldman was less than certain, at one point saying, "NO! There is no Goonies 2! I'm sorry but it's just not gonna happen,” though he did also add, “...course now that I've said that, they'll do it." Director Richard Donner seemed to be the most in favor of a sequel saying it was a “definite thing” back in 2010.

Director Richard Donner announced to an unsuspecting photographer that he is making a sequel to the hit 1985 children's adventure film, The Goonies.

Donner was signing autographs in Beverly Hills when a photographer bombarded him with a series of questions regarding comic book and superhero films, but Donner took the opportunity to express his interest in making The Goonies 2. Although there have been rumours circulating about the possibility of a sequel to the children's classic, this is the first time it appears to have been unofficially confirmed by the director.

The Lord Of The Rings: The Return Of The King Review

Good

By the time hobbit hero Frodo Baggins (Elijah Wood) finally -- finally! -- struggles to the top of Mount Doom, where at the climax of "The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King" he must cast into its volcanic fires the malevolently omnipotent Ring that has been slowly consuming his psyche for three movies now, many of the nit-picky things that have gotten on my nerves throughout all the "Lord of the Rings" flicks had come to a head.

So many times now has Frodo's whiney, obsequious traveling companion Samwise Gamgee (Sean Austin) begun boo-hoo-hooing that I started rooting for him to be chucked into the lava along with the jewelry. One too many times has a lucky coincidence saved our hero, as when in this picture he's captured by the demonic, bad-tempered Orcs, only to be rescued moments later when his two guards -- the only two guards in an entire tower it seems -- are conveniently distracted by fighting with each other.

And once too often has director Peter Jackson assumed that the previous installments will be fresh in minds of the audience. That's a pretty safe bet for his fan base, but for the unobsessed, "Return of the King" -- like "The Two Towers" before it -- has many what-did-I-miss? moments. For example, in one of two climactic battle scenes, a never-identified army of fearsome face-painted foes riding atop gigantic elephants appears on the flank of the protagonists' battalion, prompting the question, "Who the heck are these guys?" (Apparently they were in the second movie too, but pardon me for not having seen it since last year.)
