Mr. Sean Combs, colloquially known as P-Diddy, is recovering well from the car crash that saw his SUV get smashed up, as well has his pride. MTV reports that the rapper-turn-CEO has thanked his fans for their support.

On Thursday (October 25), a spokesperson for Diddy issued a statement to MTV News, confirming that he's receiving treatment following the accident. "Sean Combs sustained multiple injuries in yesterday's car accident including to his neck, ribs and collarbone. He is currently receiving treatment for these injuries from his physicians and would like to thank all of his fans for the outpouring of support that he has received since the accident." The collision occurred on Wednesday, October 25, after a car attempted a left turn in front of Diddy's SUV, causing both vehicles to collide. Cops arrived to find both Combs, his driver and fellow passengers in the car, all complaining of pain after the accident. Russell Simmons was one of the first to break news of Diddy's accident, tweeting, "Glad to hear my man Puff is ok..." and the artist formerly known as Puff Daddy also took to the micro blogging site to allay the fears of the fans, tweeting simply: "Woah...that was a close one!"

He'll be hoping to get back on his feet, as the past couple of weeks, have seen him actively promoting the work of his latest Bad Boy signee, Machine Gun Kelly, who recently released his debut album, 'Laced Up'.
