The Sex And The City star will help raise money for the Comic Relief charity by going head-to-head with other celebrities to see who can bake the nicest cakes.

She has revealed she agreed to take part in the 2016 edition of The Great Comic Relief Bake Off after being challenged on Twitter.com by British broadcaster Emma Freud.

Cattrall tells U.K. talk show host Graham Norton, "It was quite a strange thing. It was the first time I'd been offered something like that on Twitter. I tweet all the time and Emma Freud tweeted me and asked me to do the Bake Off. She threw down the gauntlet and I said, 'Yes.' I'll just take a lot of wine and have fun."
