Following the troubles surrounding his controversial art installation designed to protest Donald Trump’s administration, Shia LaBeouf is planning something a lot more low-key for his next art project – by exiling himself entirely.

For the next month, the actor-turned-performance artist will be living completely by himself in a log cabin in the remote Lapland region of Finland, with his only form of communication with the outside world coming via text messages to visitors of a museum in the country’s capital city, Helsinki.

The project is entitled #ALONETOGETHER, and is being undertaken with his art collective colleagues Luke Turner and Nastja Ronkko. Having begun on Wednesday (April 12th), the trio will be living in separate cabins in Finland, according to the Associated Press.

Having endured a troubled start to life, Shia LaBeouf’s anti-Donald Trump art installation ‘He Will Not Divide Us’ has re-located from America altogether because of safety concerns, finding a new home in Liverpool.

The project is now to be housed at the British city’s Foundation for Art and Creative Technology (FACT) Gallery, after events in New York and Albuquerque showed “that America is simply not safe enough for this artwork to exist”, according to a new statement from the Hollywood star’s artistic group LaBeouf, Rönkkö & Turner.

The installation was originally located on a wall outside New York’s Museum of the Moving Image in Queens, and debuted back on January 20th, the day of the controversial Trump’s inauguration as president.

Shia LaBeouf’s art installation protesting against Donald Trump has been shut down by the Museum of the Moving Image in New York City, where the project was being hosted.

For the past three weeks since President Trump was inaugurated back on January 20th, a permanent livestream outside the museum in Queens encouraged participants to stand in front of a camera and say the words ‘He Will Not Divide Us’ for as long as they want.

It was the latest real-life art project launched by LaBeouf, Rönkkö & Turner, which has engaged in headline-grabbing stunts since 2014. However, it has now been closed by the Moving Image for reasons of “ongoing public safety” issues.

Shia LaBeouf has reportedly been arrested and charged with assault and harassment at the site of his permanent protest against the new president Donald Trump this week, in circumstances that are not particularly clear.

The 30 year old actor, who has been in the headlines more frequently for his series of life-as-art projects than his actual movies in recent years, was handcuffed and led away by police on Wednesday evening (January 25th).

Reportedly, this happened a few hours after a 13-second video was released of LaBeouf shoving a man who addressed the camera with the words ‘Hitler did nothing wrong’, which was seen on the Twitter feed for #HeWillNotDivideUs, the name of LaBeouf’s permanent art installation in Queens, New York City.

A 26-year-old man has told of how he was sucker punched over the weekend on New York’s Lower East Side, just because of his close resemblance to actor Shia LaBeouf. Mario Licato said he was punched in the face and knocked out by the unidentified man, who told him: "This is because you look exactly like Shia LaBeouf!”

For his latest 'performance art' piece, actor Shia LaBeouf is currently occupying a lift in Oxford, with collaborators Nastja Rönkkö and Luke Turner. Titled #Elevate, the stunt is being streamed on Youtube ahead of the actor’s Oxford Union address later tonight (February 19th).

Shia LaBeouf just can’t catch a break from public embarrassment, it seems. Recently, the Nymphomaniac actor was involved in a brawl outside a Cabaret show in Broadway. It has now come to light that a week earlier, he was causing trouble in a slightly less cultured setting – outside a strip club in New York City. The incident was captured on video and subsequently published by the folks at TMZ.

The video is just the latest in a string of bizzare behaviour from LaBeouf.

In the video, LaBeouf can be seen bouncing around in the street, seemingly waiting to start a fist fight with another man. Another man, apparently the actor’s bodyguard, stands between them. The fight never actually gets going, since LaBeouf walks away after a brief verbal exchange. However, this isn’t the first instance of bizarre behavior from the former Disney actor in recent months.

Shia LaBeouf's behaviour hit an all-time high of bizarre at the unveiling of his new movie 'Nymphomaniacs,' this past Sunday (Feb 9th).

The 27 year-old began his headline grabbing day by storming out of a press conference in Berlin after only answering one question.

LaBeouf was asked about his frequent and graphic sex scenes in the Lars von Trier-directed flick.

Bieber Banged Up For Druggy Drag Racing: Justin Bieber has just had the mother of all terrible fortnights. The recalcitrant popstar was under investigation for a vicious egg attack on his neighbor's home by police who discovered drugs upon raiding Bieber's abode. The 'Baby' singer headed snowboarding with his equally rebellious chums with the threat of deportment looming. The singer was then arrested yesterday for DUI and drag racing in Miami.

Bieber showed what a true hard-ass he really was when police stopped him and he immediately snitched on himself, saying he was drunk and high on weed and prescription medication. The 19 year-old was released from a Miami jail an hour after a Miami judge, set a "standard" $2,500 bond Thursday afternoon. The widely-circulated mugshot shows the fallen star grinning ear-to-ear in his orange prison v-neck, prompting Seth Rogen to brand him "a piece of s**t."

Jim Carrey took to the stage at the Golden Globes to present ‘American Hustle’ as a nominee for the ‘Best Motion Picture, Musical or Comedy’ award.

But the comedian wanted to get something off his chest and openly dissed actor Shia LeBeouf in front of the crowd of A-listers.

Carey said, “Dying is easy, comedy is hard. I believe it was Shia LaBeouf who said that,” he jokingly quipped to the laughing audience. “So young, so wise.”

Shia LaBeouf ripped off comic writer Daniel Clowes big time with his short film HowardCantour.com, a short which is pretty much a word-for-word copy of Clowes' comic book Justin M. Damiano. After coming under fire for his blatant rip off, Shia apologised, but did so by plagiarising another set of apologies (what is he like!).

It then seemed as though he genuinely was sorry when his elaborate second apology took to the skies (literally) this week, however his method of using a skywriter to say sorry for real has met with confusion from most, with a number of people questioning his reasoning behind such an elaborate way of saying sorry. One such person to ask what the hell is going on in Shia's mind happened to be Girls' star and creator Lena Dunham, who took a swipe at LaBeouf on Twitter.

We all know the story by now - Shia ripped huge chunks of his short movie HowardCantour.com from one of Clowes' books - but the actor is still keen to show that he is oh, so very sorry.

Shia LaBeouf found himself under deep scrutiny after airing his new short film, HowardCantour.com, in December last year after some people noticed some glaring similarities between it and the Daniel Clowes comic Justin M. Damiano. As Shia continues to find himself in negative discussion, he wrote an apology to Clowes in a rather elaborate fashion, by taking to the skies.

LaBeouf was placed under heavy scrutiny after ripping off Clowes' work

"I am sorry Daniel Clowes," the message hanging off the end of a skywriter plane read. LaBeouf tweeted a picture of the plane and message afterwards along with the note, "CLOUD: - vapor floating in the atmosphere - remote servers used to SHARE DATA - to make LESS CLEAR or TRANSPARENT."

Apparently nobody told Shia LaBeouf about the universally agreed upon rules on plagiarism, because he just keeps doing it. The Transformers actor came under fire earlier this week for having used Daniel Clowes’ comic “Justin M. Damiano” as the basis for his short film “HowardCantour.com”. And by “using as the basis” we mean he copied it pretty much word for word, with some name changes.

By now it's just getting awkward.

Fortunately, LaBeouf apologized after the plagiarism came to light. Unfortunately for him, it turns out his apology was also plagiarized. Yes, that just happened. Since the media got wind of the fact that LaBeouf had borrowed his apology from (no joke) a four-year-old Yahoo! Answers post, the actor issued yet more apologies. Let’s just say that by now, it’s getting a bit strange. On Wednesday, he tweeted an apology, which was rather obviously ripped from Tiger Woods’ statement following his 2009 infidelity scandal.
