After her phenomenal success with Chandelier, Sia’s career has taken off in a whole new way. This week, the singer/songwriter’s album 1000 Forms of Fear, reached the top of the Billboard 200, marking it as the best sales week of her career – and her very first Billboard No.1.

The album sold 52,000 copies in the week ending July 13. Like her last two records, it was released by RCA, via Monkey Puzzle.

The album, released July 8, aimed for a high-concept feel. Neither the cover, nor any of Sia’s promo appearances or live performances show her face and she chooses to appear instead as a faceless wig (on the album cover) or via her mini-doppleganger, Dance Moms’ Maddie Ziegler.

This is Sia’s first Number 1, but not her first appearance in the Billboard chart. She made her debut with 2008’s Some People Have Real Problems, which peaked at No. 26 and then saw reached another peak with 2010's No. 37 hit We Are Born.
