Being a celebrity means dealing with invasions of your privacy on a daily basis, but for Sia Furler, she's determined not to let anyone profit from these moments of violation. She made sure of it by dealing with a recent sale of her nude pictures in the most epic way.

When paparazzi snapped a sneaky photograph of 41-year-old Sia naked while she was on vacation, they tried to sell the images to the highest bidder. But the singer was determined to minimise the value of the shots by posting one back shot of herself on social media for free.

'Someone is apparently trying to sell naked photos of me to my fans', she wrote on Twitter. 'Save your money, here it is for free. Everyday is Christmas!'

The image featured the FameFlyNet watermark with 'Client Preview' written across the top. It appeared to be a screenshot of a phone conversation because a message underneath the blurred shot read: 'If you make the purchase it will be unblurred and you will receive and [sic] additional 14 images.'

Of course, it's very likely that by Sia drawing attention to the sale of these images, the value will go up with the interest, but many of her fans are still praising her brazen response to the situation. Indeed, it certainly shows an element of determined control over one's own body.

Perhaps the most commendable part of her Tweet was the fact that she used the moment to plug her own work; 'Everyday Is Christmas' is the name of her forthcoming album, co-produced by Greg Kurstin and marking her very first holiday record. It features the already released lead single 'Santa's Coming for Us', and it's now available to pre-order.
