Solange Knowles is ready to move on from her infamous scuffle with Jay-Z in an elevator at the Standard Hotel in New York City.

It has been two months since security footage leaked online that showed the singer attempting to kick and punch the rapper when leaving a Met Gala after party on May 5th.

But when asked about the incident in the August issue of Lucky Magazine, which she features on the front cover of, Solange quickly played it down.

The 28 year-old refers to the altercation as only "that thing," and addresses it for a brief moment before changing subject.

"What's important is that my family and I are all good," she said. "What we had to say collectively was in the statement that we put out, and we all feel at peace with that."

The in-laws, as well as Beyoncé, released a joint statement several days after the footage surfaced back in May, explaining their family feud was now over.

"As a result of the public release of the elevator security footage from Monday, May 5, there has been a great deal of speculation about what triggered the unfortunate incident. But the most important thing is that our family has worked through it," the trio said.

Adding, "Jay and Solange each assume their share of responsibility for what has occurred. They both acknowledge their role in this private matter that has played out in the public. They both have apologized to each other and we have moved forward as a united family."

It is still unclear what their confrontation was over, but there have been several reports that claim it began when Jay got angry at Solange after two of her friends tried using his name in an attempt to get into the star-studded after-party.

Furthermore, tensions also rose when the in-laws and Beyoncé were exiting the venue, the '99 Problems' rapper said he would be heading to Up & Down on West 14th Street, where Rihanna was hosting her own Met Gala after-party. But Jay was allegedly planning to go without his wife.
