Solange Knowles is ''doing horribly'' dressing for winter.

The 27-year-old star - who is the younger sister of superstar Beyonce Knowles - is finding it difficult to find a look which caters for the frosty season, especially since she's been receiving samples from designers who are working on their summer collections.

She told the New York Post newspaper: ''I'm doing horribly. All the designers send you spring samples and it's really hard trying to make the transition into winter looks.

''I've been doing really bad. But I did see [Vogue Japan's editor-at-large] Anna Dello Russo walking up in a strapless tube dress with no jacket on the street, so I am not a champion.''

Solange was appointed creative consultant of Puma last year and her 'Girls of Blaze' collection is set to be released later this month.

She teamed up with Gerlan Marcel, Darlene and Lizzy Okpo of William Okpo and Hisham Bharoocha to create a Brazilian inspired reinterpretation of the classic Puma Disc trainer.

She previously said: ''It is in my new role that I am able to express my love for not only design but the conception of creative ideas, and the execution of them by curating amazingly talented teams.''
