The cast of ‘One Tree Hill’ stage a reunion on Saturday night, showing that over three years since the series ended its run they're still the best of friends. The night was documented on the Instagram pages of several of the show’s former cast members including Sophia Bush who starred as Brooke Davis on the CW drama.

One picture posted on Sophia Bush’s instagram showed the gang including Bethany Joy Lenz, Daphne Zuniga and Stephen Colletti all hanging out at a bar, presumably at the end of the night.

Sophia captioned the image, 'Peanuts (and one sleeping beauty) #longday #greatday #fam #likeitwasyesterday #pickuprightwhereweleaveoff #hitmewithyourbestshot #purplereign #fam.'

One noticeably absent cast member was Hilarie Burton, who was sadly unable to attend the festivities. However the actress, who portrayed Peyton Sawyer in the series, did mange join in on the fun when she FaceTimed with Sophia.

Sophia later shared a pic of herself trying to get a hold of Hillarie using the app with the caption, ‘When you're trying to FaceTime bae from the hotel to tell her all the things, but she isn't picking up #SendAwkwardScreenshots #BreytonFeels #AboutLastNight.’

'One Tree Hill' ran for eight seasons, being in 2003 on the WB network. It later moved to the CW in 2006 and ended its run in April 2012. Earlier this year show creator Mark Schwahn spoke to Glamour magazine about what life might be like for some of the characters today.

Speaking about couple Jake Jagleski and Peyton Sawyer, Schwahn said, "I think they would have been very happy. They were a very soulful couple. They were a couple of artists. And they had great chemistry too—Bryan Greenberg and Hilarie had great chemistry. She would have been completely happy. She chose an artist and she chose a writer, but not everyone's gonna choose the musician, come on!”
