Kelsey Grammer Denies Failing To Strap Baby, 4 Months, Into Car Seat

Kelsey Grammer Stan Rosenfield

Kelsey Grammer's representative has insisted he strapped his 4-month-old baby into a car seat before he left LAX airport earlier this week. Kelsey and Kayte Grammer's parenting techniques came under scrutiny after photographers snapped the family leaving the airport with baby Faith appearing to be resting on Kayte's lap - a violation of Californian law.

A representative for the actor, 57, tells E! News that the baby was fully belted into a car seat before the family left the airport. "I am not an attorney, so I cannot [comment] on any legal aspect. I just know that the original footage that aired strongly implied that they left the airport without a car seat, which was not the case," said Grammer's rep, Stan Rosenfield. So why was Faith on her mother's lap as Kelsey started up the car? Rosenfield explained, "In an attempt to avoid the paparazzi, they exited through the upper level. Kelsey went back in and got the car seat and met them at the car. Did the car drive a few yards without the car seat? Yes. At no time does the video show them leaving the airport with the baby not in the car seat."

The incident comes just weeks after Grammer took his daughter along to Hugh Hefner's Playboy mansion Halloween party. On that occasion, he explained, "Kayte is breast-feeding and we do not have a nanny or a trusted baby-sitter at this time, so Faith goes everywhere with us. We enjoyed the party with a few of our friends, the baby slept as her ears were covered the entire time and we left shortly after midnight."

Danny DeVito And Rhea Perlman's Marriage Breaks Down

Danny Devito Stan Rosenfield

Danny Devito and Rhea Perlman have chosen to end their 30 year marriage for reasons unknown, Entertainment Tonight reports. Stan Rosenfield, the pair's representative, confirmed the news to Entertainment Tonight, but did not mention 'divorce' and merely said that they had 'separated'.

DeVito and Perlman met in New York in 1978 and moved in together after only two weeks. After 12 years of living together they finally decided to get married, and subsequently had three children together. They also founded the Jersey Group, which includes Jersey Films, a company responsible for Pulp Fiction, Erin Brokovich and Matilda, the latter in which the couple played a darkly comical couple as Matilda's loathsome parents.

Both still have very active careers. DeVito has been playing a pivotal supporting role as 'Frank' in It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia since 2006 as well as voicing the 'The Lorax' in this years' smash animated Dr Seuss adaptation of the same name. Perlman had a recurring role in 'Hung' and has also penned a successful series of children's books 'Otto Undercover'.
