Princess Leia’s bikini has already sold at auction for $96,000. The bikini was worn by actor Carrie Fisher in Star Wars: Episode VI – Return of the Jedi. The revealing outfit, complete with collar, is one of the most famous from the film franchise. Fisher’s character, Princess Leia, was forced to wear the bikini when she was captured by the villainous – and slug-like – Jabba the Hutt.

According to reports on the BBC, bidding started at $80,000 on an online auction run by the U.S. company Profiles in History. The lot included the bikini, a collar, a few chain links and a certificate of authenticity from the costume designer.

Meanwhile, a piano bought and supposedly played by Elvis will be up for auction in November, Julien’s Auctions in Beverly Hills announced on Monday (5th October).

According to a press release on the auction house’s website, the piano has been on display at the Nashville Country Music Hall of Fame for the past seven years. It was previously obtained by an anonymous buyer from Elvis’ Graceland mansion.

The piano was bought by Elvis in 1955 as a present for his mother. After his mother’s death Elvis’ wife Priscilla had the walnut piano inlayed with gold-leaf as a present to celebrate their first wedding anniversary in 1968.

Julien’s Auctions have put an estimate of $500,000-$700,000 on the piano.
